yea and the effect they put through getting lost footage from WBA is the reason why the price tag, again nobody is holding a gun to your head saying buy this or die. you can still enjoy the movie for the normal 25 bucks

I was torn for the past 24 hours on what version I want. I think I may just pay the 80.00 and get the LE. I wouldn't be surprised if they sell out before it even gets to Amazon. On scream Factory facebook page someone asked when amazon will get the pre order and SF replied not for another 2 weeks by then you may lose out if you want the LE edition. I wish SF would have released more details on the extras and the book that comes along with this.

I went ahead and ordered the LE. I've seen a recent version of the Cabal cut. It was still a work in progress last September. Russell Cherrington was there presenting it and warned us ahead of time the quality could be at times akin to VHS porn re-recorded and copied many times.

I'm hoping they go the better elements to cull them together, because the newer cut really does change the movie a lot.

$80 is ludicrous but i think i will end up getting it though for a few reasons, i really like the movie and it seems like its a definative release plus even though i don't have them all yet i would like to own all sf releases one day and i might as well get it now than regret it later on.

Yeah it'll be on sale next year alright. For about $200 on eBay. They sold 1000 copies overnight. What does that tell you?

I think you're really underestimating how well this will do. Clive has tons of devoted fans who have been looking forward to seeing his version of Nightbreed for decades. The release is big news. It's being covered by all the horror genre websites and even Entertainment Weekly has an article about it. This will sell out, and sell out pretty quick.
