Sorry guys, but this members question has now created doubt in my mind. If I buy from Amazon, does my LE have the Slipbox? I'm guessing yes, but wanted to see if I misunderstood. Thanks.

If you buy from Amazon, the only thing you will be missing out on is the poster (and getting the item two weeks before the release date).

Yes, it will be the exact same product. Scream Factory just has dibs on the first 2000 numbered copies but all 5000 will be numbered.

Sorry to create confusion. I went ahead and preordered the LE but I don't like how vague everything is. It's a lot of cash to not have all information. I would advise, if funds allow, to purchase now. I'm really surprised how fast this is going.

They havent announced the extras but it will be an entire disc worth.
I doubt it will just be a trailer. I expect Clive Barker to be heavily involved in this project.. and quite possibly David Cronenberg and other cast members...
I honestly feel this will be a kick arse release

I got one of the first 1000? Am I sure to get a poster?

Also does anyone know if the poster comes with the bluray or does
it get mailed separately on a later date?

You're good on getting the poster. In the past when SF offered a poster it always came bundled with the movie.

I really wish they would mail the poster out for this one in a tube instead of folded since we're paying so much for this release this time.

Kind of disappointed that the bulk of the features are effectively going to cost an extra 55 dollars.

I understand the reasoning for a limited edition recouping costs and all but collectors would probably still grab it if it was just exclusive limited edition packaging and the rest of us would still get a chance to see the bonus features.

Well I hate that 80.00 price.... but dammit I had to get it. I really want the theatrical on bluray. Ive seen the Cabal Cut in a couple different forms and while its awesome to see all that new footage, I gotta say I prefer the theatrical. So im glad ill get to have both on blu.

The most I've ever dropped on a blu-ray was $100, for a Criterion copy of The Man Who Fell To Earth. Granted it was out of print at the time, but if I can spend that much on that movie, then $80 for Nightbreed is a cinch. Ordered my copy earlier today and it looks like I got somewhere around the 1300th.
