I know the game isnt cross play with Xbox *major bummer* who would not 'love' a match with PS4 versus Xbone1...

But, will the game be cross play with PS3 and PS4?

DC universe online is so technically it's possible, but they might not for whatever reason. Personally I hope it is, because it makes transitioning easier for people whilst retaining progress.

I think the DS4 feels better for me now than DS3 and it feels like such a step back when I now go back. Maybe it's just psyschological because I haven't played on it a while but there is no denying overall DS4 feels better so might no be just psychological.

Does anybody know why or how my Destiny clan has disappeared after being created?

It had such a cool name and was looking forwards to using it for beta. Not only that, but it seems NeoGAF still is accepting people to their clain. So i'm curious why mine has somehow disappeared.

I did some digging and it seems the Destiny clans may be specific to the site that was running and may or may not be wiped. Only when the site goes back up will we be able to tell if they wiped clans alongside the stats, in which case I will try and make one during beta and launch.

I have an addictive personality, where I love playing some games, and then after I stop i'm good, BUT with Destiny, it seems like I am experiencing a withdrawal I never have before

I'm hoping the beta and release on September 9th will change that and I have the Last of Us to also tide me over on PS4.

So, less than a fortnight to go now.

Man those screenshots are deliciously good but it begs the question as to why almost all the content is for level 20s (the assumed cap) and then we see that one saying 28-29. I personally hope to see the cap at a rounded number such as 30 if that screenshot is accurate.

I guess they're still holding some legendary gear under wraps. Would make sense. DCUO has tiered legendary gear.

I believe that the numbers are correct. 20 level cap is for your "focus", each focus could be a max of 20 and the actual player number 29, from the screen grab, is the players over all level, for which we do not know what the cap is...



As you can see this player has 118 light and a defense of 1463. I believe the 118 light + the 20 focus is what is giving this player a overall level of 29

It'll be interesting to see if Bungie pull an EA an allow unrestricted access to all gear and stuff in the final week or days.

It would certainly get people talking about the game till launch and ramp up pre-orders a bit more via word of mouth.

I find it very disappointing that this is only going to run at 30fps, it would be a buy for the ps4 for me but as it is I think I will wait it out for the inevitable pc version several months later.

Just wondering, how does it control. Does it fell more like cod, battlefield, halo (I presume this is most likely) of killzone? Also is their auto aim and aim assist? and if so how heavy is it?

I was like you, didn't really follow Destiny after it was announced and thought "meh a new Haloish universe" Then I got an Alpha code, my attitude changed.

For "only" being 30fps, the alpha was buttery smooth, sure it had a few problems here and there, but overall, the fps was a none issue, with me at least.

As for a PC release, I would expect it to be after Destiny 2, when Bungie doesn't have to make 4 versions, PS4/3 & Xbox360/1. So you night be waiting some time for that PC version, but Bungie day is Monday 7/7/14, so you never know.

After playing the Alpha, there was no auto aim that I could see or feel, it has a haloish feel with some COD (ADS), Battlefield/Killzone (large party/public events) mixed in... After my short time with Destiny in the Alpha, I can't go back to COD or any other game. I only pre ordered Destiny during my time in the alpha, just so I could play some more come 7/17... yeah, this game has me in it's grasp, like no other.
