Quick question for you guys. I am not the biggest fan of horror genre and only own a few Scream Factory titles. (Halloween 2 and 3, Day of the Dead and Swamp Thing.) For some reason I am drawn to all of the Scream titles. I don't know if it's just the art or what but I find myself looking at many of these titles over and over again thinking about putting together a complete set of their releases. Have any of you had a similar experience?

I actually have almost every single Scream Factory release and while I LOVE horror, there are more than a few Scream Factory titles that I knew going in I didn't much care for (Deadly Blessing, Q both come immediately to mind) but I love the artwork, I love the special features, the usually solid transfers and the fact that this company is continually embracing the Blu-Ray physical media format while it seems that the major studios are more and more focusing on digital downloads. My two cents.

I got back into collecting movies, and specifically Blu Ray, because of a convergence of circumstances, which Scream Factory played a big part. In October 2012, my wife gave birth to my son, and the day we checked out of the hospital to go home was on Halloween. Our check out time was at 3pm, and I sat in her hospital room, all morning and early afternoon holding our son and watching horror movies on all the cable network channels, like Spike, AMC, TCM etc. That day was magical.

When we got home, I perused Amazon's horror section, and noticed all of the Scream Factory's releases b/c of the artwork and their attention to the titles I loved watching growing up. I bought a Blu Ray player and ordered a couple of Scream's releases. I was hooked on horror again, and wanted all of Scream's releases. I started following them on Facebook and then discovered Blu Ray.com.

Got my first scream title in late April, and on my way to completing the collection... So I hear you.

It's a freakin classic of the vampire genre that in my opinion has no equal.
If it is your favourite horror movie, $29.99 doesn't seem so bad considering an average new release is between $19.99-$24.99.

So paying that average of $7.50 extra sounds worth it to me for your favourite horror of all time? No?

Money is tight right now so I'll be able to afford it next year. Would be a bit pissed if I missed out on it a second time.

If this re-release of Fright Night from Twilight Time was going to be $29.99 and not limited, you wouldn't have heard any complaints from me. I would be singing the company's praises all over the internet.

It will be limited, but likely $30.

If that's the case, it will be sold out as soon as preorders go up.
