Yes, Amazon would send you an email with the Bungie.net code for the beta. Basically, everything is through bungie.net, same with the 17 trading card codes, you have to keep checking on bungie.net.

So you can't start downloading yet. Nonetheless, No email, but was able to elect a platform and region. They are making this a really convoluted process.

I almost pre-ordered it and then said "It'll still be around in a couple days." I just signed up for an email notification. If I don't get one, no big deal.

I'm going to buy the game and the Expansion Pass. It'd be nice to have a steelbook to go along with those.

Europe beta for PS4 still.cannot be seoected. Bungie need to sort it out.

On the topic of the LE, yes, it's been sold out according to many places which is surprising. 'Limited' rarely seems to mean limited on most collectors editions, let alone the 'Limited Edition' variants around for ages with extra content and DLC.

I think considering the expansion passes will run £34.99/$34.99, it would be worthwhile looking into ordering the Limitd Edition for most. Also, the Limited Edition might be worth ordering from a B&M store. It's not exclusive to a retailer after all and from what I hear, Amazon are now charging sales tax, so orice differences to retail stores are negligible. Oh, and plus you might be able to midnight release buy. No waiting for morning post

This is why I upgraded to the ghost edition the other day. While I was still able to.

Yeah the Ghost and Limited edition went live at 11am PST and was available for a good 3 hours before being sold out. I'm surprised it lasted that long.
