Do you think they have a chance to win 6 conference games this year? I don't. That program reminds me of CU under Bowden. OK talent but very inconsistent. I'm not sure they want to be The U anymore. If they do then Golden must go. Can't wait for it to start up. 8 more Saturdays after this one!

It's all about the defense this year. The offense will score points, but if we still can't stop anybody we will underachieve. Without a doubt, a huge season for Golden.

It's likely going to be Olsen to start the season, but Ryan Williams is way ahead of schedule on his knee and is hopeful to be back by our third game. Whether that actually happens is anybodies guess. Brad Kaaya is going to be the wildcard for the position, and will fight hard for the job.

I know Olsen has talent but wasn't sure if he would be ready. I'm hoping Stoudt can hold the job for CU but I think it's going to be impossible to hold off Watson. He's perfect for Morris's system. I think CU could start 2-2 with a talented UNC team waiting for them after FSU. The D is supposed to be the real deal this year with depth up front and a much improved secondary. Very young or inexperienced on the O side with tough games to start at UGA and FSU.

I think he'll have a good year because of the depth on the D line and improved secondary.

I'm hopeful that DirecTV will pick up the channel. I'm not an SEC fan but I love football and the SEC Network is going to have some great games. Still DirecTV has shown they aren't going to pick up a channel if they don't think it makes financial sense, which is why they still don't have the Pac-12 Network, so I wouldn't be shocked if DirecTV doesn't have the network when it launches.

The last word I read (about 2 to 3 days ago) said that Directv is getting closer to a deal, though they didn't say when the deal would be completed and in time for their debut.

I think the SEC is prominent enough nationally that DirecTV will get a deal done. People in the south in particular would drop DirecTV if they can't get their SEC games. It's not like the Pac-12 which is primarily a west coast conference and often has it's games so late that many eastern and central time zone people are asleep by the time their games get under way.

I think they'll def get a deal done as well, some people are hoping since this week is SEC media day that they'll reach an agreement before it ends.

As long as they get it done before the 1st game on the Network, it doesn't matter to me when they announce it.
