Possibly. Whether the audio issues here turn out to be a large problem or not there's further interest in this new cut, though, whereas The Blob is... well, The Blob. Fun but it is what it is.

too many pages to read through but I recall people discussing the best places to order from preventing damaged blurays, maybe we can make a sticky or have a poll on the subject?

I ask because blowitoutahere.com has a good deal on Curtains and I submitted a price match to Amazon.com but haven't seen a response yet, I dont know if I should trust blow?

That certainly flew out the door fast. I wonder how many of the 5,000 actually got allotted to retail outlets. I per-ordered this from them when I didn't think it was gonna make it to Amazon. When it popped up there for $55 I was kind of surprised. I placed in order with Amazon as well, just to cover all bases. I'll have to figure out what I want to do with the extra set when the time comes.

You won't have too much trouble unloading your extra one. It was mentioned in this thread early this morning that the LE was sold out on Shout's site. From what their site had indicated, they were selling 2,300 of the copies. So the other 2,700 most likely went to retail.

not sure about the reimbursement thing. the most i ever got back was 2 or 3 dollars but most of the time i get 25-50 cents now and again. because the import fee is basically a "guess"..... then if it turns out less than they charged, they pay you back the difference.

but unless i'm very unlucky, i've never been reimbursed completely for any charge. and i can count on one hand how often theyve paid back these small differences.

This limited edition crap is just plain dumb. I shouldn't have to keep up to date with all releases just to get a copy of the theatrical cut. The release date is in friggin Oct and its sold out? Lame.

Amazon Canada still has some. It's more expensive there, but it will be a bargain compared to what prices will be like on the resale market.
