I see if you purchase digital version from psn you can download the game early. Is it safe to assume the digital preorders from amazon would work the same?

IGN has been live streaming Beta pay for most of the day and I guess I'll be getting my code tomorrow morning.

Looking at it, it does look fun, but honestly I'm not a great multi-player. I'll be getting the PS3 (pre-ordered the PS4 bundle) code so it definitely won't look as pretty as the PS4.

Any word on how big the download is going to be for the beta?

Does anyone have an extra beta code they'd be willing to spare? I preordered from Best Buy, but they haven't sent me any emails yet. I also saw on Twitter that a lot of people haven't received theirs and it's not looking like they'll get them out on time.

Just pre-ordered the standard edition. Hopefully I end up liking this during the beta. No reason for me not to but I just hope it is well executed.

The 17th is the official email delivery date for the Beta codes. They probably sent a bunch out to ease up on the download servers. No need to worry.

I got impatient and preordered from Amazon lol. Got my code already from them. I can't take a chance bcus I go out of town this weekend and gotta pla tomorrow.

Amazon have the Limited Edition for £80 atm, so it's looking more and more tempting to skip the Ghost Edition altogether. Especially because the £70+ difference for a replica Ghost and bigger box isn't making sense.

In fact, it's looking like an even bigger rip off than it already was as the price of LE goes a smidgen lower than £80 to maybe the £65-70 range.

The vanilla edition is gonna cost me £44 from Amazon anyways and doesn't include an expansion pack worth £34.99 and the other extras.

I was also reluctant about this. But it's just way to hard to resist a game with this much hype. Also, the rep at Lake Connections informs me that we are due to have fiber optic service, which is so perfect for an online game. I hope I can play the beta to find out if it appeals to me in the least. I'm not real good about teaming up with regulars to play online, but with a reliable connection, I anticipate having some great fun with a game that has a substantial online community.
