Do 1990s sci-fi/fantasy series have any hope of Blu-ray release?

It would probably look even more awful in HD then. When everything is clear and crisp, cheap tv cgi special effects are more obvious and the lack of blending into the real-world elements look really bad - stick with dvd or vhs for those shows!
