Got mine too and is one of the most expensive steels I've bought out of 100+ so hope this one turns out to be worth it. So far I'm digging it but it's no Aladdin

Almost forgot to chime in now that mine has arrived.

I love it and agree with most others that it would probably look better with a gloss finish. Or, at least, a gloss finish for the "light streaming down into the water" graphical area. That would have been EPIC. Matte everywhere but gloss just for the light effect. I know that it's probably impossible, but a man can dream!

Got my replacement today with no issues.
It is ok that it looks so different to Aladdin and The Jungle Book but I am disappointed overall especially on the inside and the back

Sounds like another person who collects steelbooks for all of the wrong reasons.

Not really I just hate to pay top dollar to only have it be cut in half 2 months later. That makes it not seem collectible at all.

Yeah, but since you never know what will drop in price and what will sell out, it's best to buy what you like for a price you are willing to pay and not look when they have extra and the price drops. What if we all waited on play.com Iron Man or Aladdin? I'm just happy with my collection and if I can live without it, I wait. If I think it will be gone one day soon, I pay whatever they ask. I would have thought this one would have sold out, but who knew?

Buy what you like, and don't speculate...you'll be much happier in the long run.

It will go up again in price, its too early right now.

A year from now it will be worth a lot more. I remember HMV full of "Drive" steels. I think that goes for a fair few bucks these days.

though it doesnt help the slight sting at knowing I could have got this for less than a tenner rather than £22.99

even if its my favourite movie
