With all this Beastmaster talk, i was just reminded of something. It's with Echo Bridge at the moment. If they can do what Synapse did with Prom Night and Curtains, and go over the heads of EB, fantastic, but otherwise, I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Maybe Raw Meat or Ghoul (Boris Karloff) will be announced.

Yes please! I m not sure if I have ever seen the Director's cut. But this would be a welcome edition to my collection.

What movies are owned Don Coscarelli? From what I gather, Beastmaster is not one of them. I believe that he only owns:
-Jim, the World's Greatest
-Kenny & Co.
-Phantasm
-Survival Quest
-Phantasm III: Lord of the Dead
-Phantasm IV: Oblivion

They're also part of the major charm of the movie and why I still love the original Beastmaster movie as an adult.

Maybe you saw the weak Hurcules-esque TV series?

I never said it was a horror film, I'm debating you that there are no horror elements.

As far as Beastmaster 2 & 3 go, I just want those movies out where I can buy them. There have not been any official US releases since VHS I believe.

Those Halloween extras sound awesome including the new HD transfers from the intercut negative of Producer's Cut and new HD to H20 with aspect ratio, hope it's better than the crappy Echo Bridge BD.

Ginger Snaps looks great on HD and so does Lake Placid, good job SF. I can't wait for your CC announcments.

I haven't seen The Beastmaster since I was a kid, but I do recall being freaked out by the monsters that digest you by wrapping their wings around you (or something like that)

These 2 (April Fool's Day and Fright Night II) are very popular and highly requested, which of course means we WON'T be seeing them . Seriously, if anybody wants to release these bad enough they would find a way to do it. Offer a trade, make a deal, negotiate, do a limited run and pay upfront, whatever. Also, in this day and age how can anyone NOT know who owns the license to a film lol.

Yes! And the Jin Hord or however it is spelled.......love the final battle sequence between their leader and the Beastmaster.

It's just an overall fun cheesy adventure with well...FUN characters.

Out of curiosity, do people really have this much love for FRIGHT NIGHT part 2? I enjoyed it, but don't remember being this enthusiastic about it. Now part 1...hell yeah!

We Just need to own it, to feel complete!

Considering the film was an independent film and did not have the biggest buget , it had Ragsdale & McDowell back, it was a fun film, and a pretty good sequel, considering all the factors.

I really enjoy it, always have. I like how they bring back almost everyone who was alive in the original (shame no Evil Ed) and Julie Carmen is the sexiest Vampire ever for me. The fx are great and i like the music too. They even upgraded on Marcy D'arcy for Charley. Its in my top 3 wants from Scream because i know they will do it justice extras wise. Fingers crossed for "Shocker" too.

I love Fright Night 1, but hate Fright Night 2.

I plan on buying Fright Night during the re-release next year, but have no interest in its sequel.

Fright Night II is good, but the DVD is some kind of VHS awful - I sense the need for a blu ray to have this film in the OAR if nothing else
I just came to the conclusion that if it was with Sony Id guess Twilight Time DVD Studio might have released it - so perhaps its a Lionsgate title (or worse)
