Just preordered The Buddy Holly Story. Am sure this will be way better than the Region B piece of garbage I have.

Yeah me too (because I've gotten most of what I wanted in past shipments), but I went ahead and got The Mechanic since it seems like the type of movie I'd enjoy, and it seemed the most likely to go out of print out of all the movies they had available that I didn't already own (of course it'll probably be available for a while though from how long Hard Times has been available).

Ha! The slowness of them putting things up this time worked in their favor. I was on the fence about buying this month and even though I said I wasn't going to, when I saw that the signed promo was still available 5 minutes in, I decided to splurge and buy an extra Man Hunt and take a risk on Santa Vittoria. So now I've got me a signed Brannigan.

I'm hoping for another cool promo for the next round. I didn't have enough titles I wanted to hit the threshold. I generally go every other one so I'm not buying stuff I don't want.

Hope most everyone on here that wanted one got one.

Edit - Nevermind, there it is.
So...does it let you choose the free copy if you don't have the $100.00 in your cart? Or does it only show up if you meet the criteria. Just wondering..

Wow, got up especially for the `Brannigan' promo, already had four other tiles ready to go in my cart, and I somehow missed it in the two or so minutes where I didn't `refresh' the page!

Won't bother placing that order now, will wait a month or so and get some more titles in one go.

It lets you put it in the cart but you can't checkout until you have over $100 of stuff in the cart. I had to search for them all manually to find the new titles. For the autographed copy, I searched for the normal "Brannigan" and clicked on the name for the normal one and it then took me to a page where it had both the normal one and the autographed copy listed, and you just had to pick the signed one.

I NEVER saw any sort of link for the new preorders or the autographed Brannigan. They all had to be found manually for me.

Thought I missed out on the signed promo, since I am on the road and trying to order with my iPad. Luckily, I kept trying and it finally popped up. Thought this might be the one I finally missed out on.

After 'The Big Heat' and 'Crimes and Misdemeanors', I just ordered my third TT release: 'Man Hunt'.

It hurts paying 35$ but there are a few movies I just must have regardless. Lang films almost all fall in that category.

I'll just put in a word for the Ken Loach double-bill.

Obviously, you have to have a taste for naturalistic, working-class British dramas but, for my money, RIFF-RAFF and RAINING STONES are far and away his best films outside of KES. Neither one hits you over the head with their politics, they're both very well-acted and written; and very funny as well as hard-hitting.

RAINING STONES I think of as a sort-of spiritual cousin to BICYCLE THIEVES. It's a very good value double-bill, for those who like such things.

That's what I did too...put "Brannigan" in the Search box. I was concerned, because for a few minutes after it went live, it was still just showing the regular one. Thought I was doing something wrong.. I guess from what i've read here, it was a few minutes late in updating to include the autographed edition. So I did end up getting an autographed one in the end, that's the main thing...just wish there was an easier way for next time.

Not sure why, but I am unable to add covers to the database since I got my new computer. Will someone please add the cover for Follow That Dream to the database entry for the film.

Does anyone know if the 2 films by Ken Loach will include English subtitles? I ask because about 10 years ago I tried watching "Raining Stones" on DVD which did not have subtitles, and I couldn't understand 75% of what was being said due to the characters thick accent.
If it doesn't, I'll sadly have to pass on this release...
