Saw it last night at a screening.

It's an existential action film!

ScarJo IS the movie.

I enjoyed it and will buy it but I think it's in borderline rental territory. Big fan of Luc Besson's work and the stuff he also produces/writes but this one isn't a home run like Taken [which he wrote, produced]

and at the very least watching 90 minutes of Scarlett Johansson is time well spent

Is it a sequel to Limitless?
But seriously, did you enjoy it more or less than the Bradley Cooper vehicle?

I read on IMAX's website (from their Corporate Press Release section) that "Lucy" was partially filmed with IMAX cameras.

It sucks that we didn't get a 15perf/70mm release here in the US!

I hope that when its released that they will at least give us an aspect ratio change like they did for TDK, Transformers 2 (a Wal-Mart exclusive), TDKR, and Hunger Games 2.

Just came from this movie (saw it on friday). It's amazing... it's Limitless meets Salt with no limits.... it's really really amazing. It dosen't take serious for a minut and you can't see it coming at the end. I like it, and the action sequences are very intenses and brutal ! Pure Besson-esque !!!

Yes, 99.9% of the time they are region free. There are only a handful I know of that are locked, usually a co-release with another label, and not a direct release.

I agree, it was very odd that it didn't get a release in its native format. A shifting AR Blu-ray would be interesting.

It was shown in IMAX outside of the US.

Just did some light research on this. Apparently, Luc Besson used IMAX cameras (not sure if film or digital), but the movie was presented in 2.40:1 everywhere. Why bother with IMAX cameras if he wasn't going to use a taller ratio?

I agree! I pre-ordered the Zavvi Steelbook. But, I'd be all over a Imax version.

I think it is odd that this was available in Dolby Atmos in theaters and it is DTS on Blu-ray.

I also wish there were more special features. There was quite a few featurettes on YouTube.

Godzilla was Atmos as well, and wasn't Edge of Tomorrow?
