Oh look, another godzilla I can't get :/ thanks though OP, these are all looking awesome, can't believe they stuck the US with an overpriced metalpak with buttons.

Are HMV releases typically Region B or Region Free? If Region Free, this will be the one I'll get if Cudz does a GB.

HMV does not dictate the region coding, the studio/ distributor does.

Warner Bros. = region free.

I don't really know about group buys, but there's a HMV near me, so I'm happy to pick up a few copies for anyone.

Awesome news on both counts! Thanks Phil!

If this will be Region Free this is definitely the one I'll get, assuming there isn't an equivalent US release from Best Buy or something.

I wasn't a big fan of the 3D in the theater, but maybe it will be more impressive on my TV at home. I've had several 3D films look better at home than they did in theaters.

I just may hold you to your offer about picking me up a copy though.

I may be interested too, not 100% sure yet. Was going to wind up grabbing a FS one off eBay later since I don't have and will probably never own a 3DTV, but I must say I wouldn't mind finally owning an HMV steel. This is all depending on US getting one or not. What's the price usually on their steels at launch?

Thanks for the offer!

I don't know if it's readily available, I only know because I was in HMV about an hour ago pre ordering it!

Is that the going rate for 3D steels in the UK, or there's a chance the price will drop close to release ?

Pretty sure it's the norm now, as all 3 HMV 3D steels are currently £21.99 and the only 2D one is £16.99.

There might be a price drop, dunno.

Yeah, that 3D is the most prominent element in the design. Pass.
