They don't license films from Sony. They just announced The Facts of Life, which is Sony. As was Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. It's kind of puzzling when you look at how Mill Creek has a deal with them to release catalog films, but I doubt we'll ever be privy to many more details. You'd think Sony would be an easy enough nut to crack after getting Warner to cave on a title, though.

We have licensed films from them because they won't allow us to do extras.

I'm ecstatic about Escape From New York and UHF on Shout. I'm happy about Mad Max. I'm interested in a number of others, but they aren't really the titles that I most wanted.

Disappointed that we still don't have Fright Night II.

I bought it last year for $13 and received both the Blu Ray as well as the stand alone DVD copy of the film. The Print is dirty, there aren't any special features, but at $13 it's a worthwhile purchase. I'd say at $15 its worth it, any more then that and I'd wait for a better price.

I like this list a lot. Some movies I love and some I've never seen or haven't seen in many, many years. I'm glad that Scream! is still expanding the parameters of their brand by including Mad Max like they did with Ninja 3, Dark Angel, etc. Lastly, I'm very interested to see what they do with EFNY. The only thing that has me disappointed is that New Year's Evil won't be hitting shelves until 2015. I was hoping for a December street date, so I could watch it this New Year's Eve

Dolls sounds pretty cool. I'll pick up New Years Evil, Scarecrows, Invaders from Mars and probably Monkey Shines because I've heard so much about it.

Other than that, I think that's it for me. I'll stick with my Escape DVD, znd Mad Max seems excessive. I'm fine with my DVD, but didn't the Blu ray set bave some good extras on it. I can't imagine thm doing much with the transfer.

I'm happy, though. A few things I'm looking forward to checking out.

How is The Dark Half? I've never heard of that one.

It's alright. Written by King just as he was starting to lose it, so don't expect it to make much sense.
