Expectations/Confessions from Vinegar Syndrome

I purchased this DVD recently and while the first film, Expectations, played just fine on my slim model PlayStation3, Confessions will simply not start either by selecting the Play option from the main menu or attempting to access the film via the Chapter/Reel selections. It does however play just fine on my laptop. My PS3 has the latest updates, etc. Anyone else have similar problems with this disc, either on their PS3 or stand-alone Blu-ray player?

The transfers are quite good and the encoding seems to be superior to (or at least no worse than) some of the Blu-rays I've seen from other companies like Scream Factory.
