Did you see the post earlier saying that they aquired the rights to Carrie but MGM ulitmately would not give them access to the negative in order to make a print as they were worried it would be damaged so Scream had no choice but to not release it and give the rights back.

I forgot about that. Maybe MGM will change their mind. If Scream threw enough money at them, I'm sure they would.

The movie I want the most from Scream Factory from the MGM library is TROLL. I would love a Collector's Edition of that movie.

I know they've said in the past that comedies don't sell, but I reaaaaaally want them to license from Fox a Collector's Edition of REVENGE OF THE NERDS.

Maybe even a double feature with part 2.

Shout Factory should look into this rather than the Scream Factory sub label. I think a Revenge of the nerds set would be fun, and something I'd definitely pick up despite already owning the first film on Blu Ray.

Fox just released a blu for it with a good amount of extras.

Last I heard Peter Jackson has the rights and will release a CE when he's done with the Hobbit films. Also he will release Bad Tatse and Meet the Feables.

Lionsgate released an unrated Blu ray in 2011 of Dead Alive that is now OOP. (That's now selling for around $100) So it's certainly possible Scream could make a play for it. I'm glad I picked up my copy when I did (Paid less then $10 for it at Best Buy as well)

Yeah, I picked one up when I heard it was going out of print, got if for about $12.

Maybe a box set called Peter Jackson's early films or The Peter Jackson Gore Box.

That would be a good fit for Scream!

Unless he pulls a James Cameron and decides to make some other trilogy

Then he'll be "too busy" again.
