Well now that I know what the ending spoiler is, I'm a little disappointed. Now don't get me wrong, I'm very excited about the character returning, but this was spoiled weeks ago by someone saying he had a cameo, so I just assumed it would be during the film and NOT the end credit spoiler. I guess I expected more from Marvel like another sequel hint or something.

I'm pretty sure this is a sequel hint. Gunn is over the moon about introducing him. Wouldn't be surprised if he has a bigger part down the line in the next film.

I think it's more likely the character will get his own movie instead. But who knows.

I did love the line in the credits right before the end credits sequence.

"No Raccooons or Tree Creatures were harmed during the making of this film."

Reminds me of quirky credits from the 80's. Like Phantasm II's "Wrath of the Tall Man.", etc.

Well if they give him a major role in the next film or even his own, then THAT would be pretty badass!

No, because this isn't based off that. They're not going to tie back to that film for any reason. This is their version, that will be comic accurate. The film version wasn't.

My thoughts exactly. I think they have plans for him. What they'll be, I'm not sure. But I can't wait to find out.

Put me down on the not a fan list.

My disappointment is not just for it being that character, but for the scene itself being a let down.

I haven't been following early screening reactions much...is there two scenes like usual on this one or just the one?

One scene takes place at the beginning of the credits sequence.

My local theater isn't even showing 2D versions during the day so 3D is its. I plan on going early to try and beat the people bringing their snot nosed brats to see the talking raccoon.

The 3D push is getting pretty absurd these days.

Before I left my job at my theatre earlier this month, the company/studios were pushing me to program 3D shows as high as 80% of our runs for certain titles. It was so irritating especially knowing that my demographic does NOT like 3D and it killed a good bit of our business and pissed off those that did come...but it made them more profit per ticket, so who cares about treating your customers fairly and providing a product they want
