Actually Arcanist leveling is nice because it's a "2 in 1" class. Level Arcanist to 50 and you'll have both a summoner and scholar if you level the secondary classes to 15.

I figured that out accidentally when I got to 30. I activated the summoner crystal and am close to activating the scholar. I'm enjoying the class so far. While playing the conjurer I miss my little tank pet.

The problem is, the distribution of your attribute points. I've used Paladin, White Mage, Black Mage and Archer, but the Arcanist class is easily my favorite because you can basically take on all of the roles of tank, healer and dps at the same time. The downside, as with the attribute points, you then cannot really become as strong in any one of those roles as other Jobs.

I find it best to throw all your points in one class of the other. I put all mine in Int since I almost never play the SCH and play my SMN a lot.

I hadn't been on this since June!

I was sad to see the server absolutely dead. No one around at all, even at the vendors that sell all the end game stuff. Is it just me or has the game pretty much died now?

I really don't know if I can get back in to it after so long away, it also looks like I got booted from the Free Company I was with, they were great to raid with and always helped out when I was in need of a hand.

I would imagine Destiny is taking some people away right now. But more than anything, I think people are holding off until patch 2.4 brings some new content (including a new class/job).

I hope so, the game was so addictive for the first few months on PS4. Then I got distracted by a few other games and before I knew it 4 months had past without me logging in. I feel like a complete stranger to the game now, as if I'm out of touch with everything that's been going on.

Hopefully the FC I was in accepts me back in to the group. We'd just got a house and everything before I got distracted by other games. I'm not even sure how many of them are even still playing though to be honest.

Mav the game is definitely missing something major as its catered to much towards the casual gamer. Its the same 1 dimensional stuff released over and over to the playerbase. Gil is worthless, Materia pointless, Housing a waste, there are no choices to really be made in the game which totally sucks as I had such high hopes for it.

You do realize you can switch servers for like 15 bucks, right? After my Free Company died early this year I left my smaller population server for a much larger one and it really made playing more fun.
