Default Mitsubishi tv problem

I have a Mitsubishi WD-65734 and when I plug in my Onkyo 605 with my ps3 hooked up through it I get a message stating hdmi switching is not supported. Has anyone else had this problem or have any idea what is wrong?

well what I did was, connect the 605 directly into the Mits with hdmi. Then I went into the tv and labeled that hdmi input as dvd or hd disc, whatever you wanna call it. Then I hooked up my ps3 and cable box into the 605 each with their own hdmi and labeled each input dvd or cable/sat for the 605, and then I am able to switch back and forth. I noticed the same problem you had when I disconnect the 605 from the tv when I was moving things around. Im not sure what the technical problem is, but that is away around it, that I found.

Thanks for your advice, Im going to try that out. Have you by any chance had your tv calibrated and if so was it worth the highend money people are asking for?

I used the calibration tools that come on any of the sony blu ray movies, by inputting s-o-n-y when you get to the main menu. my tv out of the box was pretty close to the calibration of how i wanted it anyway. Even the movie Ratatouille has a calibration tool you can use, just follow the on screen prompts and you can get it the way you want.
