Verizon has yet to come to a deal with ESPN over the SEC Network.

This is unacceptable is every way. Virtually every other major carrier has come to an agreement.

Verizon needs to wake up or I'm gone. I don't care if I have to pay the $200 early termination fee. I'm going to find a carrier that has my needs in their lineup.

I really don't care either way. I pay for the sports package for Redzone, so I get the others (though SEC and maybe Big 10 are base package).

I must be in the minority here. I've enjoyed Saturday football for years and the SEC network didn't exist. I can't see what my life is missing without it. Would it be nice to have more options? Sure, but the big time games will be on national tv anyways

I can't speak for everyone, but the more football games I can choose from, the better Saturday it is for me. I like choices.

Odds are I won't be watching those games, but I like having the maximum number of games available. The more the merrier. I will you this though, that Texas A&M@South Carolina game should be a good one.

I will say this. I think Carolina wins this one pretty respectfully. ATM just does NOT have a defense worth anything and I expect RB's Mike Davis and Brandon Wilds will have a field day.

Not true, and it isn't "just that simple." MANY CFB fans west of the Rocky Mountains want it.

What are your all's fav team predictions for this season? As for my team (Louisville) I'm thinking realistic and say 8-4, but I would love to go 9-3 instead.

Georgia Tech: We should get 8 wins easy, and then we have the last 4. I'm gonna go with us losing the road games from that group (Virginia Tech and UGA), but winning the home ones (Miami and Clemson). But, since we always blow one of our easy games, I'll put down a loss on the road to North Carolina, so 9-3.

Mercer: I'll go 8-4. They went 10-2 last year in a non-scholarship league, but they'll be in the SOCON this year. But since we just got started back, we still have like 4 games scheduled against D2 and D3 schools, so I'm basically going with us splitting our conference games.

I'm with you. We'll see if Stoops can get these kids believing in themselves. I'd be very pleased with anything over 4 wins. Then...next year we turn things around and get to a bowl.
