I went from initially not wanting to see this at all, to being fairly excited about the concept. I saw it in 2D and absolutely loved it. I chose 2D over 3D because I saw the 3D trailer in theaters and thought it looked horrible. Maybe it was just that particularly trailer, though.

Regardless, I can't stand Tom Cruise in the slightest and I still loved this.

I doubt they would have
Two 3d films out on the same day release

With X men.

Gotta be the 21st date

What's usual release time for a Warner movie after on theater? Should it come out with Godzilla?

Are there any lenticular slips scheduled for this anywhere in the world?

Judging by the recent 3D releases by WB, I suppose the US 3D edition would have a lenticular slip.

All of WB's 3D releases have lenticular slips, so the 3D will have one. But the 2D will most likely wont have one.

FYI, iTunes has the pre-order for Edge of Tomorrow up. It doesn't have a release date set but it does say that the digital copy with have 90 minutes plus of iTunes Extras.

Sounds as if the Blu will come somewhat fully loaded.

Can't wait. Definitely picking this one up on Blu. My favorite film of the summer.

I loved this movie, the suits, the mimics, the full metal B! I saw this in 3-D and enjoyed it so much I wanted to go back and see it in 2-D. Unfortunately I got sick and this stopped playing at my local theater really quick. So this is a day one buy for me! I really hope Walmart or Target gives us a steelbook or metalpack for this one.

It's been so long since I bought a 3-D blu day one. I'm assuming the 3-D version will be on sale for $24.99 and the 2-D $19.99?

I didn't have a chance to see it in theaters but I'm totally blind buying this movie. The trailers was really darn good.

You're in for a treat, this was truly the best movie of the summer. I enjoyed a number of movies that came out between April and August (Capt. 2, X-Men, Guardians, Godzilla), but this was definitely the best.

Not sure why, but Best Buy calls this "Live Die Repeat: Edge of Tomorrow". ("Live Die Repeat" was a tagline used on some of the posters.)

Also, the DVD is a "Specuial" Edition.

ITunes has it listed as Live Die Repeat Edge of a Tomorrow as well.
