Not to mention the men furthest to the left and right of the frame are in two different positions. Same goes with the man behind Stafford's shoulder.

This makes me angry and sad at the same time. The scalpers ruin it for others who haven't had a chance to pick one up yet, like me.

The wait goes on for the Nightmare Blu-ray. And regarding Butcher, Baker, Nightmare Maker, am holding out on getting the DVD in case a Blu-ray release from Code Red does happen. But I'm also wondering if, by the time I decide to get the DVD release because a Blu-ray release won't happen (either from Code Red or another label), the DVD release will be sold out.

Come on. Do you think in that 100th of a second that the camera pans up to the CALIGULA sign? You don't see it as well as you do on the blu. In that scene there's more bottom info on the dvd and less on the top while the blu has more top info and less bottom. It's just different framing.

It's weird to think that the first time I watched this movie it was on a crappy VHS under the title "Blood Splash". The cover was hilariously bad and the movie itself was edited I found out later (but none of the violence). I Couldn't believe the gory carnage on screen as well as the downright dirty feel of the whole thing.
While I've watched the movie numerous times, never on DVD much less Blu-ray so man I'm looking forward to a revisit even with the steep price. Maybe I'm wrong but the last time I watched it I thought to myself that this movie has one of the most hard core beheadings ever in a horror movie. I really wonder when things kind of die down on this title and the difficulty in getting it how many will actually be sold. Several hundred? several thousand? |

I still bet that Bill is sitting on a TON of copies of Nightmare on Blu-ray. He is still on Vacation I believe since the 12 day shipping thing is still there. All the people worrying probally just need to settle down and be patient and it will be available in abundance in a few weeks or a month

This is now the tenth time or so that I've missed out on Nightmare, because I dont check the store five times a day (I check it at least two or three though) and there is no warning rhyme or reason to when he puts stock in. Christ man this is just ridiculous. Im sure there is alot of copies left but I mean think about it he has sold a helluva lot since June or whatever and there's a limited number... damnit to hell.
Edit: I wouldn't be too worried about it if I hadn't been trying to get it for weeks on end, and just when I'm not on the computer it comes and goes. I appreciate the fact that it's available at all greatly. Just aggravating that I never can seem to get the only CR blu I dont have. Last edited by MarsupialRebellion; 08-15-2014 at 07:24 AM. |

Slightly OT but isn't it sort of silly tp keep referring to Bill's prolonged "absence" (translation: doing shit other than manning his storefronts 24/7) as a "vacation"? I mean, hasn't it been established that he's currently in L.A. or wherever movin' n shakin' n wheelin' n dealin' attempting to procure source materials for upcoming releases? That doesn't really fit my conception of "vacation" but what do I know? I'm a bear! I suck the heads off of fish! ...Nevermind
