Saw this last night at the cinema. Hugely enjoyable, even in it's 12A rating. Can't wait for a harder cut on Blu. Funniest line at the expense of Bruce Willis following a much publicised spat with Stallone comes from Harrison Ford: "Don't worry about Church, he's out of the picture".

Really hoping for a legit R rated/Unrated cut. Legit as in actually noticeable. The lack of bloodshed really hurts this one IMO.

yeah, the illegal downloads on this one probably did hurt it. At the same time, the pg13 rating didn't help. This was a pg13 movie for an R rated generation. Why anyone thought that was the way to go was stupid. I need Rambo 4 blood.

Bad writing, bad acting, bad special effect, no blood, no T&A, no cheesy, bad bad bad !!!!

The only thing that amuse me is Wesley Snipes and Antonio Banderas, they were good ! The rest... suck or are not too much into the 3rd installment. I think Jason Statham is there for 15 minutes or less. awful !

[Show spoiler]The final fight last 20 seconds... Mel Gibson give 3 punches to Sylvester Stalone, then this one kill him with like 10 gunshot... and still no blood.

Harrison Ford role is nothing but a waste of time. He drive, smiles, than leaves... boring !!!!!

HUGE Stallone fan here....attended every theatrical release of Sly's first show, opening day since Rocky 4.

EX3 was a dissapointment to me, the whole middle section with the "new recruits" was a waste of time and didnt give me what I paid for....THE ORIGINAL CAST !

Antonio Banderas STOLE the film in my opinion. Just wish the film would have done better, a spin off with Banderas & Snipes would have been great. Or better yet, they should have given their characters more screen time.

YES, on an UNRATED cut......but I doubt that will happen because it performed so badly.

I'll pick mine up used from Family video 30 days after release for 10 bucks....

Anyway, I hope the blu-ray is loaded with bonus features and a longer cut that flows better.
As it stands now I did not like the movie much. Everything from the movie was missing something.

Could someone who grabs this in the next little while confirm for me whether or not the "Christmas Runs the Gauntlet" extended scene is in 5.1 or stereo on the disc? I did the 5.1 mix for that extra scene and just want to make sure it made it to the BD before I buy. Thanks!

I know this is Dolby Atmos, but the site review says it also has TrueHD 7.1. My 11.2 Denon 4520 is only seeing 5.1.

What are you guys seeing for an input signal?

There's only one English track, it's a Dolby Atmos TrueHD track. Registers as 7.1 to my Sony Blu-Ray player. I'm getting periodic audio dropouts and it only happens during specific moments like when there's a sound-peak or when there would be a peak in the Atmos surround channels due to things like explosions.

Does your system have Atmos? Strange you see 7.1 but I only see 5.1. Your looking at the input signal, right? (I'm using a PS3).

No drop outs for me.

I got the same dropouts on my Oppo, but not with my Sony player.

I had 1 sound drop out and I have the Sony BD 5100.
