I thought we had a pretty decent chance to at least draw against Everton until it was confirmed both Albrighton and Vardy will be missing the game due to injury. Ulloa really needs to do something magic, or I can see us being creamed by Everton.

We got a draw, that might not sound like much, but points are prizes in this crucial season. We've got some tough games going forwards, so any points is confidence and morale for the side. I honestly thought we looked really sloppy, especially as the game went on, but the wild, scrappy, hungry style of play seemed to cancel Everton out all together. By the middle of the second half I forgot Leicester were even playing anyone. With all the injuries forcing off key players, it's all the more frustrating - I think Wood only got the goal that he did because he was fresh on the pitch. Ulloa was great though, Morgan was great, some key saves by Moore, some awesome chances by Nugent and Mahrez. And what a climax to the match, incredible start.

Kind of disappointed in the 2-2 draw against Leicester today. Not the way we wanted to start the season, especially against a team that just got promoted to the EPL.

I know you'll probably just think I'm biased as I'm a Leicester fan but I thought Everton played really poorly. They started off well, and showed off a bit too like the big dog showing who is boss to the little dog. But even after Ulloa's fierce come back for the side, it just felt like you had no respect for us at all to the point where in the second half I'm not sure Everton was even playing or if they were just stood about. It was then only when things started to go in our favour, and we started gaining momentum, Everton began a cynical chain of fouls and diving to try and break down our play without actually having to out play us.

I'm not saying Leicester were without flaws either, we tried to get free kicks when we didn't deserve them and we were clearly missing Vardy up front which resulted in some very sloppy attacks but we aren't the top flight club, Everton should have been setting the example and the tempo.

I was still shocked that Everton had to play to our rhythm, and seemed powerless to stop us (especially in mid field) at points. We were both the underdogs and not playing all that well either, looking at the Everton side that turned up I'm amazed they finished fifth last year.

Never judge a team based on one game. But yeah, we didn't play well today. Only watched parts of the game, but I chalk it up to early season (rusty) form. By the way, no team (not even the big boys) should ever take other EPL teams lightly. Just look at recent season giant killers Crystal Palace as an example. Sunderland and Swansea also have had their moments, just not consistently obviously.

Yeah, the one good thing about going up against a giant is the experience the players will gain. I'm sure we're going to take quite a beating next weekend, and probably the next few weekends after it sadly, but I'm hoping that as long as the side keep their faith these games will have us bouncing back stronger.

I mean you could even see it in the Everton game, Everton hadn't really turned up but even then the quality of their play just completely out shined ours. Their play seemed so effortless by comparison, and I mean if we pale against a side who is clearly uninterested in the match, then I'm really worried when our fitness is put to the test against giants.
