I know it makes most of the crowd around here cringe but I'm like you in that I'd rather lose some of the edges for a picture that fills the screen top to bottom. I've often watched scenese and looked to what I would miss with a non-oar version and I don't think I've ever noticed a scene that wouldn't be the same with parts of the edges missing. I'm sure there are some closeups that would suffer as a result but I'd much rather have a fuller image the rest of the time. For me, it's not just that the picture is smaller, it's that we're losing over 200 lines of resolution to make it fit. I'd much rather have the full 1080 resolution and miss some of the edges.

Thank you. I have seen what is clipped off on the edges and can live without it.

At least, give me a setting to enable or disable it.
