So in other words this will be the "Complete Collection" for about a year

well thats no surprise and anyone should be aware of that happening when it comes to these sorta collections. especially for any of the big three horror franchises.

but if anyone feels bad about it just know you're in good company because the Bond fans did the exact same thing. they got a box set of every movie even though another was coming...and that set even had a space reserved for the new one.

so all that just to say, its never truly complete for most franchises! lol i mean its just a few years ago we got "all" the Star Wars movies together in a set and now there's like 8 more coming. lol

This comes from the "official" Halloweenmovies website:

"We’ve been getting a lot of e-mails/tweets/Facebook messages lately about a project called Halloween: The Next Chapter. It seems that’s the latest buzz surrounding the next Halloween film and again it’s just not true.

As we stated before, a new installment of Halloween is indeed in on track and moving forward and we are currently developing a script, to finally bring Michael back to the theaters!

More information will be released over the coming months and exclusively at Halloweenmovies.com. So make sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook, so you can know first!"

For whoever is interested, right now you can pre order the deluxe edition at blowitoutahere for $106.58 and there's a coupon for 10% off good till the 22nd.

Code:BACKTOSCHOOL2014

Link:
http://www.blowitoutahere.com/hallow...n/013132623252

If you choose super saver shipping, and don't live in Florida or Kentucky (where orders get taxed) the total comes out to $97.91
Not sure if it's the best deal but it beats the $118 walmart price.

i'm in canada as well (ontario) but i lucked out and grabbed this back when it was only 94.10 so it came to 106.33 after taxes. but regarding the price change, a few pages back some people were saying their total had changed on the pre-order they placed.

I started to watch it about 3 years ago I think I made it about 40 minutes into the movie before I turned this wannabe Star Wars with a $2 budget off. Sorry, I just couldn't get into it at all as I was really bored with it.

As long as it is not a sequel to either Zombremake, I'll be happy. Unfortunately, I think the chances of getting a well done Halloween movie has long passed. It will probably just be another "See how many characters we can kill off without any sort of development" fest like every other horror movie these days.

Anyway, there really is no such thing as a truly Complete Collection these days as there will always be a sequel or a remake to a franchise.

I wish collection sets like this would avoid "complete" labels, something like Halloween: 1978 - 2009 Collection would be ideal.

Edit: 2009, blah.
