Is SONY doing enough to prevent that?

Your first picture is for DVD and the second picture is kind of a vague BD/DVD one.

I definitely see what you mean with the last two pictures and the answer to your question in total is: No.

But again: Why is it all up to Sony? The combined might of the BDA really should be launching nukes left and right. It should be shock and awe.

So, your question really should be: Is the BDA doing enough? So far, I still have to say: No.
