Sure but stores are thinning out their physical media it seems every 6 months, I think it's only a matter of time. Two of my favorite things could be gone in the near future, physical movies and movie posters.

that's more to online sales destroying brick and mortar. they've had to adapt in order to survive, thus why everything has been crammed to the side as places like BB add in samsung tablet stores and furniture

If you want to see an obvious homage to Godzilla '98, go no further than Kaneko's "Godzilla:GMK All Monsters Attack." The scene where Godzilla first makes landfall during daytime, Godzilla emerges from the sea with a boat falling off it's head, the ocean "swelling" via poorly done CGI complete with fisherman who reels in the Big G from a dock, large piles of frozen fish getting knocked over by fleeing crowds, windows shattering due to Godzilla's roar, etc.

I don't know if it's Kaneko's way of outright mocking the same scenes in G '98, showing he could do the same bit scene for scene arguably better and more effectively or simply an honest homage.

I'm with you on that. I need to have something I can touch. And not all streaming sites have good movies do to studios licensing. I'll take a Blu-ray Disc any day but I would like to see Godzilla now

The problem with streaming movies is you only have access to it as long as the studio says you can have access to it. Last year I wanted to watch the Halloween series for the first time, but you know how many movies Netflix had streaming? ONE. One out of ten freaking movies. That is down right stupid. I have a list of 50 Film Noirs I want to watch, and before I went out and bought the ones I could, I went to Netflix. Do you know how many of them I had on my list? Three. THREE MOVIES OUT OF FIFTY!!! I also can't watch TV shows like Are You Afraid of the Dark on Netflix. Simpsons is not on Netflix. True Detective and Boardwalk Empire do not seem to be on Netflix. What am I supposed to do, buy a subscription to every single network just to watch a tv show? I might as well just buy it on BD/DVD then as that means I can watch them any time I want without having to worry about them not being there when I want to watch them. Oh, and it will be cheaper too. Streaming is only great as long as companies allow the content to be streamed.

I've noticed movies disappearing in my area, but it's only the DVDs that are disappearing. And they've been replaced by more Blu-rays.

It was location markers, they all had to rendezvous somewhere. Also, they jumped at night so they has to light their way to make sure they didn't bump into each other or buildings on the way down.

Just had my Godzilla turn up from Dvdworldusa. If you have any questions, please ask and I'll do my best to answer them.

The 3D version has a very nice Lenticular Slipcase.

Be aware, it has that awful 'Stacked Disc' rubbish again.

Well the most recent concern is whether the 2D transfer is too dark or not. You could also check to see if they have any deleted scenes included, though I don't think there will be any.

Ok, I've had a look, there are no Deleted scenes that I can find.

As for the Transfer being to Dark, I just played a bit where they appear to be in

and it seems great to me, dark yes but only the right amount.

Thanks, I'm glad WB is sticking with lenticular slips for their 3D releases. I plan on getting this version!

DVDWorldUSA started shipping copies last Friday, they tend to get releases 2-3 weeks before release but you pay a premium for this.

Not really a surprise though is it? considering that is how Warner have packaged all their multi discs releases for several years now.
