Have a look at B13, it's really damn good, even more if you understand french (which is the native language of this movie). I never watched it in english and never will I because my primary language is french. so i cant comment the translation if it fits well or not.

I understand french more so than I can speak it I'm afraid. French was my first language, but because we moved to Ontario when I was a child I had to learn English for school purposes and my parents then only spoke English to me. I don't think I will want to watch B13 because I like Brick Mansions quite a bit, and I don't want another movie taking away from that.

I now see that some sites have an extended cut listed that runs about 100 minutes. Or about 9 or 10 minutes longer than the theatrical cut.

So are there three editions out there, the theatrical, extended and unrated cuts? Or did the news sites get the unrated cuts running time wrong?

The unrated cut was supposed to be 16 minutes longer.

It's been out in Canada for a few weeks but I figure it'll end up on Netflix.

While it's not as good as the original French film, I still enjoyed this one, deviations and all. Very curious to see how different the unrated cut is. I wasn't expecting it to be so much longer.

reviews for fox movies (or at least non uber popular fox titles) will probably be much later than street date anymore as most places will have to source their copies themselves...starting this month Fox entertainment is SEVERELY cutting back on sending out screeners. they opened up a "digital screening rooom" where reviewers can screen the movies that way and physical screeners are being restricted to all but the biggest of the big reviewers....hopefully BR.com still counts as one of the bigger ones

it looks like Fox is going back to the days where they would piss off reviewers by sending out crippled screeners with horrible video quality and 2.0 audio with a bit scrolling bar of text on the screen that says "this is a screener"

Was the guy that isn't Paul Walker dubbed in this? Something seemed off to me with his dialogue.
