Default Charging controllers for PS3

Wondering how everyone goes about charging there controllers. I have a charger piece at the end of the USB cable that connects and charges two controllers but, thru trial and error discovered that it is causing interference with my controllers now. When the charger is plugged in, my controller becomes ultra sensitive and jumps all over.

So, I am looking for a new way to charge. I realize I can just use the USB cables but, am wondering what other people are doing. I'm not completely sure if there are several pieces available as, I've had my PS3 for some time and bought a charger along with it at that point.

i use the pelican charging stand...works great...it holds and charges 2 controllers...plus 2 additional usb slots to charge other things. ( has its own power supply, so no need for ps3 to be on to charge it )

I'm pretty sure this will end up being what I pick up. The piece I have is ok, nothing special and was like a $10 piece at the time.

I knew that it would be annoying to have a single controller so I bought two when I got my PS3 and now charge the other whilst I'm playing and so on.

I picked one of these up last week. It's a great investment. It keeps both controllers fully charged and has a slot for my headset. It's decent quality too.

What about not attached to PC? I can try when I get home but I want to see if I need to "borrow" a hub from work.

I use a 4 - port hub that plugs into the wall, and keep it on a desk next to my couch along with my bluetooth keyboard and mic. It is nice to be able to charge your controllers wihtout wires going to the PS3, or having to have the PS3 on.

I looked for my item, but have not seen it, I think it may of been replaced by something new.
