I already have it as well.

Godzilla is available on the Kaleidescape store. It went on sale there 4 days ago. It would be easier to post a pic if I didn't have to host it but here is a screen cap of the title available in their store.

$14.97 too, so it looks like a better price than Target, Amazon or Wal-Mart.

I watched the 10 min free preview in HDX on Vudu, and it does appear kinda dark. Not unwatchable, but dimmer than I would like.

The GIF doesn't look too bad but Blu-21's image comparison is way darker than I remember, even with 3D glasses on. Hopefully the transfer on a BD-50 gives it more room to breathe and yields a brighter image...

Then again, I also remember this movie being 1.78:1 theatrically for some reason

I didn't have a problem with it in 3D, never watched the standard Blu-ray so can't comment on that.

No longer have it anymore anyway as I sold my copy on ebay at the weekend for £82 so was well chuffed with that.

No problems at all in 3D, found the 2D Very Dark especially towards the end. In fact it's the first Movie I've seen that is Brighter in 3D.
