He isn't now, but he did at USC.

I wish I could like, and enjoy their success as they have always been the closest NFL team to me, but he makes it hard. I did go on a tour of Qwest field a few years ago, it was pretty cool.

I wasn't 'offended' by it, as I'm not a Pack fan. But I bet going for it was more for his huge ego than putting the team in a better position to win.
Let it go. It's not like he threw a pass in to the end zone. They were going for a 1st down to end the game quicker. You can only blame the Packers for being so bad at tackling.

One game doesn't define a team. I expected them to lose tonight.

It's going to be how they respond to adversity that will define them. I remember in 2010 being 8-6 and everyone was writing them off. 2 months later they were crowned champs for the 13th time over their long history.

Seattle looks good now but a lot of adversity can happen to a team over a season. They haven't repeated yet. Seattle is better than the Pack now but I don't think they're 20 points better. It was a typical sloppy early regular season game.

Let it go? It was never anything but gone. Either way Pete Carroll is still a d-bag!

Reminds me of why I despise Ted Thompson. The Packers should have made a run at him when Buffalo released him and they didn't have a running game.

The game was much closer than the score indicates. If I was a GB fan I wouldn't be worried for the reasons stated above. I would be worried about Bulaga's injury though....

It seems like the Pack has endured more than their fair share of injuries the last few years. At times I really question the conditioning of the team when it seems like starters are being lost at a high rate.

Packers RT Bryan Bulaga has been diagnosed with a left-knee sprain, but the team believes he's avoided "major" injury.
Even a minor knee sprain could hold Bulaga out for multiple weeks, but it's a bullet dodged for the Pack after Bulaga missed all of 2013 with a torn left ACL. The news is even better considering how overmatched Derek Sherrod looked in relief. Bulaga has 10 days to heal up for the Pack's Week 2 tilt with the Jets. His status should be updated no later than next Wednesday.

Sorry I thought he was released. But the point remains that he wanted out of Buffalo and the Pack needed a running back and TT didn't go after him.

I've seen it go the other way in an Eagles/Chargers game, I believe. I can't remember the exact game or what exactly happened, but one team had a lead deep in their opponent's territory and went for a FG to add to the lead. The kick was blocked and returned for a TD. And that team won. I think it was the Chargers with Marty Schottenheimer coaching.

And we've seen Peyton put up 21+ in like the final four minutes to comeback to win against the Bucs after trailing 35-14.

I also witnessed, two years ago, the Titans blow a 41-27 lead with less than 2 minutes left against the Lions. It went into OT and we won, but still. One of the craziest games I've ever attended aside from the Music City Miracle.

I've been to the Seahawks stadium (now Century Link Field) on a tour as well. It's sick. Got to see first hand how well sound travels, echoes, and blows up even with just a few people yelling.

The Seahawks have been my secondary team for several years now, and I really enjoyed pulling for them the past couple of years. Also the fact that they destroyed Peyton was just too great for me since I live in a state that is down on its knees for Peyton and hops from Colts to Broncos, but won't support the Titans.

I think the Raji injury is going to haunt the defense all year.

Really? Do you remember why he got traded? Numerous off the field issues, A hit and run, felony gun charges... he was damaged goods.

I get that there are plenty of reasons to criticize a NFL GM, but to criticize one for not trading for Lynch at the time is pretty silly.

It may be getting to be time for an overhaul of the coaching staff in GB. Most successful coaches have about a ten year run and McCarthy is already in year nine.

If they keep Capers after this year I say fire the whole lot.

The defense just hasn't been the same since Nick Collins career ending injury.

While we are at it it might be time to get rid of Ted Thompson.

Marty sucks! I don't remember that, but like I said I'm talking about specifically about a 16 point lead.

That is quite a bit more time than 2:30

Again that is a 14 point lead, much different than a 16 point lead.

It wasn't loud when I was there in 2008. In fact it wasn't loud at all, in the visitor section the Dolphin fans were more audible. I guess winning is contagious.

So you hate Peyton because of people liking him? FWIW The Titans shouldn't exist, they should have never left Houston.

WTF? If I was Packers fan I'd want to slap the SH!^ out of you.

Here is McCarthy's tenure:

Year W L T Playoffs
2013 8 7 1 Lost WC
2012 11 5 0 Lost Div
2011 15 1 0 Lost Div
2010 10 6 0 Won SB
2009 11 5 0 Lost WC
2008 6 10 0 Missed Playoffs
2007 13 3 0 Lost Conf
2006 8 8 0 Missed Playoffs

So he has won a SB, made the playoffs in 6 out of the 8 years. Do you know how many teams would kill for that? In the hunt almost every year?

I know... 16 in 2:30 has probably never happened. I've never seen it. But I've seen some crazy stuff and huge leads blown late in games. And 14 in less than 2 minutes is the same concept, just without the two point conversions. Big difference, I know.

Yes... winning is everything. I honestly think we have one of the loudest stadiums when we are an elite team... 1999-2003 was insane and again in 2008. Our fans suck otherwise. Very fickle. They'll come back when we're good again (yes, we'll be good again at some point).

No. I don't hate Peyton. But spend time in Knoxville and get your degree from UT... I hate Vol fans who support only the Vols and Peyton and not the Titans. So I enjoyed seeing the Seahawks blow them out knowing Knoxville and Vol fans were absolutely miserable. They talk so much sh*t about the Titans and act like the Vols are the greatest team out there. They are all in on Butch Jones. They'll go 5-7 again.

Tebow could pull it off, he went 15 pts in under 3 mins vs dolphins and then won in OT.
