My point is that while these ridiculous exclusive DLC's only available by pre-ordering at a specific store are done because they know there will be some people who buy MULTIPLE copies of the same game just to get all the DLC, and it's completely ridiculous and should be stopped, the fact that Gamestop routinely ****s over the gamers, and yet the devs and studios are embracing them and enabling that bullshit.

I have zero love for Wal-mart, they are evil beyond comprehension (just read up on what they do to small towns) but this specific instance, Gamestop should be viewed as the enemy.

I completely forgot that Origins pulled that bullshit where all the DLC wasn't included in the Season Pass.

From now on I will definitely confirm that all the DLC is included in the Season Pass before buying it. I'd like to think RockSteady isn't gonna pull that nonsense, but you never know. Especially since they're in bed with Gamestop.

Well its not Rocksteady's choice as they are only the developer. Its the publisher that makes these deals and WB has been doing that with its recent games (which was the main point of my post)

It's always worth remembering that developers and publishers are not one in the same. The impression you get is that most developers are gamers and often creative thinkers who take pride in their work and simply don't have the resources to get their products to market. Publishers are suits beholden to shareholders and boards of directors. Developers, especially smaller ones, are often taken just as much advantage of as the gaming customer.

I don't think there are too many who buy multiple copies of games just for DLC. I think people are generally stupid, but not quite that stupid.

I wasn't sure where I should post this, but I was checking out a promo video for FuturePak cases (aka MetalPaks) and at the end of the video they showed off some Arkham Knight cases One with lights, and one with lights and sound. Looks sweet to me

Wow, i'm actually really impressed by the designs. I wonder if Steelbooks could replicate that.

Steelbooks still look better to me, the spine on these are ugly and the lights and sounds are really gimmicky.

Material is a non issue as it sits on a shelf all day long, its not like I'm taking it into a war zone.

Their Facebook page is confirming 6/2/15 as the release date... Kinda hoped it would have been a Feb/March release. Oh well.

Whatever Rocksteady needs to make the game the best in the Arkham Universe.

Give me a 1080p/60fps port of the Arkham Trilogy on PS4 and I will be completely happy.

$200? These are getting absurd.

That said, I wish this wasn't so far away.

Are we sure this is coming June 2nd and not Feb 6th? All the dates I see say 2.6.15.....

Hmm June 2nd is a tuesday and Feb 6th is a friday, not that that's necessarily definitive

The 2.6.15 date is how they display dates in European markets, the day comes first then the month and year follow. I wish the date was February 6th.

At least the release being in June gives something to play when the drought starts.
