They're still not mixing to 7.1, simply applying in the studio the same thing THX processing can get you on your end

One thing with the BD-10A, there's a bug that has been fixed on the 30 but not the 10, the LFE channel is output too low over analog, you have to bump it up in your player setup and/or on your receiver.
Really?! That's odd. Maybe the scores really are mixed funkily for the theatrical cuts. The Lionsgate mixes I was refering to are 3:10 To Yuma and The Eye. The scores just seem to be amped up in the rears to the point of being intrusive. So really, what you're saying is at this point, if you have a reciever that does like THX Select2 or THX Surround EX or something like that, you're getting pretty much the exact same effect as 7.1? Because I have to be honest, from the stuff I've seen in 7.1, nothing has really made me go "yes! this needed 7.1 sound!" Pretty much everytime I've seen something in 7.1, I've also listened to it in 5.1 with THX Select2 (or Surround EX) and thought it sounded just as good.
