Captain America TWS STILL hasn't gotten here from my FYE preorder. Tomorrow will be the 10th day since it shipped. Starting to get real nervous that the previous preorder that I received a week after the release date wasn't a fluke (the other preorders arrived either on release day or within a day - give or take) and that my 15 disc set will not be here on release week, let alone the actual day.

Starting to feel like the extra $12 bucks I saved on that sale ($73 shipped), is something I would forfeit in order to get it here on time.

Actually no, I would prefer to pay a cheaper price. But it's going to kill me to read about everyone enjoying their sets and I won't be able to jump in an participate as well until it's old news!

On the plus side, I can basically skip over the 10 pages or so of "Should be arriving today!/Mine arrived today!" lol

I preordered on Deepdiscountdvd on 9/2 for $98 but when I go to my order history there's nothing there? I emailed them about it and in case the order got cancelled I just preordered at amazon.ca.

Props to elecrofunk - the prophet of profit.

I know I will keep this method in mind for other significant 'one time only' price adjustments.

I also want to encourage folks if Amazon sends you a survey at the end to give them feedback that price matching identical items from their other sites into US currency upon request should become standard practice. It's good business and helps build the kind of customer loyalty they claim is so important to them.

Means their not in stock I got mine from a US seller on ebay for about $13.

I just bought it for $30 from an amazon seller. The other sellers won't ship it out to the states. I couldn't find it on ebay.

I cancelled my order for the Limited Deluxe Edition with amazon U.S. Since I live in Canada and went with amazon Canada. Cheaper and most likely faster shipping. On top of that the exchange rate made it even worse. Save about $30

Amazon told me via chat that they only price match TV's. I tried to get the guy to allow me to price match by telling him I know others who have done it and he straight up told me no. First he wanted me to send him a link to the set on their own website and then told me he wouldn't price match it.

2 hours later and Amazon has delivered on the goods. Amazon has always gone way above and beyond to keep me happy as a 10+ years customer. I'm sure they looked at how much I spend and for how long I've been a Prime subscriber so prolly don't give a **** about 30 bucks to make me happy. :P

YAY!!!! I got the adjustment with one chat that lasted 7 mins.
At first he wasnt going to go through with it. However once I said how disapointed i was about the lack of uniformity regarding amazons granting this to some and not others, along with a polite I might have to reconsider keeping my long time amazonprime account. Chandru suddenly changed his mind

I am very disapointed as i said I would not have contacted if had only been 1 or 2 people but there are litteraly more than a dozen differnt people have posted screen shots verifying that they have been granted a match on this.
Its very troublesome that not all amazon customers are granted the same
treatment in regards to price matching

I spend a lot of money on amazon.com and have been a long time prime member this will have me greatly reconsidering keeping amazon prime.

SO I ended up with 87.92 shipped
85.66 minus 5 dollars off 1 button ap offer(which i forgot i had used when i ordered in june) plus tax. I am very pleased. Thanks for posting about your success with this, never would have known otherwise.
