Where I have been farming glimmer I have to kill one sub-boss so I can respawn in the farming area after I jump off a cliff. This run looks interesting because from the video you don't have to die to get the enemies to respawn and they are getting quite a few more engrams than I have been. I have been averaging about 20,000+ glimmer and a few random engrams(including purple) in about 30 minutes. If you are on later tonight and would like to give this a shot let me know. I plan on doing this for a bit regardless to compare results with what I have been doing.

I've been lucky to have 1,000 glimmer. I'll hopefully be on later tonight.

Okay, I found the place by doing the Skywatch mission but I think it was a mistake finding it that way. There were a ton of wizards and other hard stuff to kill when finding it that way and even the guys at level 22 and 24 that were in the area trying to use this method were having a hard time fighting them off. Not sure if they brought them there or if I did. So, that might have been one mistake. So, then I did the patrol mission, once I saw where it was, and found it that way and did the thing for a while with a level 20 guy. It was pretty easy except we tried a public event that started right by us and I died 3 times in that. Anyway, I was getting tons of ammo doing his method but I kept seeing X's show up and so with a lot of stuff that I might have gotten, I didn't get because I finally caught what the X was saying. My slots were all full. So, I think that was another mistake.

So did anyone pre-order Destiny at Best Buy? I still haven't received the $10 in reward certificates for pre-ordering and buying the game. Wondering if the purchase has to clear in my account before it shows up.

Pshh... I'm still waiting for my $10 when I bought Madden back late August.


EDIT: Just checked my My Rewards account. It's there, I just don't remember getting a notification when it was available.

This seems to work pretty well. I just ran 20 minutes and got the below. It is more drops than I have been getting anywhere else. I almost got the cryptard up to level 6.

Green=9
Blue=3

Edit: The more people you have the better it works. Just did it with 3 other guys and got 2 blues and 4 greens in about 5 minutes.

I just did the cave spawn thing from 16-17 and ended up with a good bit of drops. As far as engrams (or whatever) goes, I had about 4 green and a blue.

In case anyone isn't aware, the cave works on a trigger mechanism. If you're too close, the cave won't spawn (sadly this is a way to mess with people trying to do it).

Also if it isn't spawning and you're back a bit, go up top and kill those enemies.

I did it alone for most of the time. Simple enough. Just hit aim, wait to see spawn names and fire a few rounds to kill em. +60 exp a spawn and each spawn is about 8 seconds after last mob killed.

Yeah, I just had some guys keep shooting me and I couldn't figure out what they wanted. They finally sent me a message asking me to back up. Guess I was too close.
