I think Fukunaga getting the win for directing is spot-on. Well deserved. Rust got his win in the form of Dallas Buyers Club, and his role in True Detective won't be forgotten. Pizzolatto has more opportunities with True Detective.

But what was with Julia Roberts presenting? "Woooooo True Detective! Oh and Kevin Spacey for the West Wing or something, I don't know, it's on Netflix."

Julia Roberts was annoying as all hell up there.

Like I said earlier in this thread, any other year, True Detective would have been a almost lock. I hope they continue the high quality they have displayed and win next year.

You don't have to be 79 to get a standing ovation. Aaron Paul also receives one for his third and final win for playing Jesse Pinkman on the late Breaking Bad. At 34, that makes him the youngest actor to ever have three Emmys. Way to go, *****.

How is it that Aaron Paul has won thrice and Walton Goggins is yet to be nominated for Boyd Crowder?

Default Breaking Bad Connection

I am only getting around to watching Breaking Bad boxset's now my brother give me a loan of them to watch from the first to the last season.
He is a big fan of the show from day one so i started the first season yesterday and finished it, then today i am on season two episode 4.
The thing is so far i am not finding that connection to this like i did with the sopranos.
Everyone keeps going on about this but i just find it a struggle to like it so far does season two pick up and should i finish the other seasons.

It gets fantastic beginning around Season 3.

Several years ago, I owned the first two seasons of the show on DVD (this was prior to the fourth season's television airing) and I admittedly stopped watching it midway into Season 2 because I found it to be so incredibly boring.

I could honestly not fathom why it was gaining such acclaim. Many months later I gave it a try again and I was hooked. I binge watched the entire series in a couple of weeks lol.

That is it so far its boring i just feel in season one the show spent too much time on walts family.
I know we have to get used to the characters but its dragged out a bit.
