they're very good. hack and slash, with some of the best puzzles i have ever had to solve in a game.

incredibly gory though.

I had a friend call me up because he couldn't figure out the body in the water puzzle is gow2.

I wonder how GoW3 is going to be now that the main guy (I suck with names) isn't on board anymore.

Jaffe is his name, and even though he went and created his own studio, he is still working and heavily involved with god of war 3.

He over saw the development on the second one as a consultant more or less. Cory Balog was the guy in charge. I was under the impression that David Jaffe wasn't involved with the gow3 at all. He said he wouldn't mind if Santa Monica Studios contacted him because he had an overall outline of how he believed the story should progress.

Cory also left santa monica studios though.

What toast said and Jaffe said in an interview (play magazine if I'm not mistaken) that he knows what the story's gonna be and it should be good but he will not be involved as much if at all as he was with previews two games.
