I hope so, I always liked Roger Moore's bond the best, and think he's a pretty good actor.

Would love to see him play a sith villain or elder.

According to the article they don't wear the hood, but I think the hood makes it look more badass.

INDIE REVOLVER EXCLUSIVE: The Millenium Falcon and Lightsabers in Inspiring STAR WARS: Episode VII Concept Art

Quote:
The Star Wars: Episode VII set has been filthy with James Bonds of late. First, there was the story about Daniel Craig possibly shooting something for J.J. while visiting the set (he’s set to start shooting the new Bond film with Sam Mendes at Pinewood Studios soon). Now we have confirmation that another Bond, Roger Moore, visited J.J.’s Star Wars set.

Moore said the following, regarding his visit to the Star Wars set, in an interview with Graham Norton at BBC Radio (starting around 1:48:50):

Roger Moore: …Anyway, the day before last, I know we stopped by the office, and I went up to see – on a very closed, secret set – my friend J. J. Abrams, who is directing Star Wars.

BBC: Ooh, wow!

Moore: …With Harrison Ford.

BBC: So, what were they filming that day? Can you tell me?

Moore: Well, yes! They were filming something with a lot of mountains and snow.

It sounds as though they’ve built a studio set for some scenes to match the Forest of Dean location in England, where the cast & crew shot over the summer and left some gear behind. We heard at the time that the lush green forest would be altered in the film to reflect a snowy landscape. We believe that this is the setting in which we’ll see the new scout/snowtrooper hybrid in action. Everything we’ve heard about the location feeds right into our favorite piece of production art that we’ve seen from the film:

Gee, you think? Disney and JJ and everyone else are retro-ing this to hell and back to specifically appeal to all the disgruntled fans who thought that the SEs and the prequels were crimes against humanity. Still, they may well be picking up a story thread which was broached in Ep III, that of Darth Plagueis, so they're not ignoring the prequels either.

That's my (new) hope for the sequel trilogy: in a roundabout way they may be able to tie together the prequels and the sequels in a way that Lucas never could.

About Darth Plagueis...

He (or Palpatine) created Anakin. They created a Force-powerful being once...if Plagueis is still around, who says he didn't do it again? What if he's created someone who is now a match for Luke Skywalker?

I thought it was in one of the books where Palpatine's essence transferred from him falling down the shaft and into another clone he had staged all over the place. So Luke could be facing a younger Palpatine, or someone 'possessed' by his essence.

It was in Dark Empire (great comic)... Luke also follows his fathers path down the dark side thinking that he is turning to the dark side for good reason (to defeat the Emperor). However the Clone bodies turn out to be to fragial to contain Palpatines power and he tries to move himself into Leias unborn child. I wont spoil the story but I love that comic!!!!

Palpy is dead, the Clone Palpy thing is EU stuff that's been purged from the canon. I'd love to see Max Von Sydow as Plaugeis with a new "sith midi creation" that can go toe to toe with Luke Skywalker.

I likes the sound of that, Ernest. Anakin crashed and burned (literally), so if Plagueis gives it another go and creates the baddest of all the Sith then perhaps Luke's burgeoning abilities ("moving mountains" and so forth) might be all that can stop he/she/it - only Luke's gotta confront his own demons first, not least because Plagueis might technically be his grand-pappy...

It would also make sense...it would continue the storyline from The Phantom Menace that -- to this day -- many people don't even know about. Anakin's backstory is there, it just hasn't been properly addressed (yet). Instead of retreading and rehashing, you move the story forward. I can completely see Luke going down and Plaugeis (Max Von Sydow) going down, leaving Plagueis' new creation (Adam Driver perhaps?) as the baddy for the new breed to fight in 8 and 9.
