Playing the same levels over and over is not fun. With is shooting into anole for 2 hours but at least that had more appearent rewards.

I guess nothing is fun in Destiny no matter how you choose to play.

Honestly, the raid is becoming a speed run us to get to final boss. We started the Templar boss fight for instance as a practice, and when he got engraged, the goal was to show all the new guys our 'backup' spot to kill him and cleanse at. Instead funnily we kept chipping away at him and beat him lol.

It's actually very important on the final boss that everybody find the perfect ryth and co-ordination. Then it's all luck as to how steady he stands when/if you manage to get times venegeance. I did the raid twice last night from scratch till the boss, but he takes so lobg without people knowing the routine to beat him, and if people die so I called it a night at 4am. Not sure if the 2nd group finished yet, but i'm planning on completing with my friends the final boss tonight. One of my friends just increased his level too.

Tip #1 would be to equip void damage weapons. Fusion rifles for up close kills, snipers for those wishing to keep a distance and heavy weapons be void too. They rip through vex for the most part. Just need high enough attack rating.


Voidwalker and Defender classes for Warlocks are advised. They have void damage dealing aspects. Hopefully if you have a group, I can team and show you guys the tricks but they're probably written up and on vids too.

He's a team player, sometimes when he's nearby he'll sacrifice his own life to revive me.

Well, I'm glad they seem to be implying they are going to buff the Thorn Exotic. After all the excitement of getting my first Exotic it turned out to be an underpowered pile of poo. Sooner they buff it the better.

Nope, trust me in pve defending titan is a life saver. Doesn't take much to level so I'd suggest you level up that class and just play accordingly. Low easy stuff you can go striker and switch it up to defender for harder stuff .

Me and another titan duoed a boss in a strike just by alternating our bubbles and punching him to death lol

What are your motives for playing? Not meaning that to sound like a jerk. I'm genuinely curious. I traded this because the play time vs reward wasn't worth it to me. So many hours wasted on MAYBE getting gear. It's seriously flawed. More power to you for sticking it out.

The shooting and gameplay is fun and I can play with a lot of my friends. That's it. This is the first game where I have 6-8 friends I can regularly play with and the continued hope that I'll get cooler gear.

My frustrations keep mounting high and at some point I'll probably just stop until they fix some major issues.

That's the gist of it, isn't it. Coordination and luck. One mistake can screw the whole thing. An empty clip at an unfortunate time can screw the whole thing. It's one thing to know how to do it. Execution is the key. It gets so frustrating. You have guys ready to exit the portal, but the guy holding the portal is down, or they exit and get instakilled by supplicants. You can be having your personal best run of the night, and the relic gets dropped on the inside...the world turns red...game over. I hope we can get it together this weekend. Or at least that one of the groups here can get together at a proper time finish one. I've hardly slept this week.

I just had a friend laugh at how OP he thinks Thorn is once levelled up in PVP and how they plan on buff it. I guess Hand Cannons etc. ALL require you to change the way you play. People don't seem to get that so they ***** everytime an AR hands their butt to them.

I'm disappointed people feel ARs shpuld be nerfed. The damage trailed off a.lot at distance for me.

Meanwhile I was farming in the Nightfall for this week, instead of going into the shadow area. I'm just killing Vex and Fallen as they respawn and fight each other. One of the rooms that the Vex comes out of seems to respawn a loot chest like every 10 or 15 minutes. Don't know if this occurs in the regular patrol of Venus or not.

Also randomly, like the loot cave all hell breaks loose as minotaurs and harpys start showing up in droves. And of course I was solo and kept getting killed.
