If any of you make a set time for Sunday evening. I'll be there for sure. I just don't want to show up and then wait around for people to show up 30 mins later when I can play something else or do some cleaning. When I'm online, I get to the point and play. Sunday and Monday is my "me" time.

Also do all 6 players have to join in order to start the Raid or can a few just start and the others show up later on?

You can start the Raid alone, but you'll never get anywhere. The whole mission absolutely requires working as a team. And I think weapons matter more than level 26 vs. 27 vs. 28. As long as the leader is present, players can come and go at will. When you get there on Sunday, start out with a PSN party, so you can communicate without forming a fireteam. That way, you can keep doing what you want while you wait for others to show up. Or have the one who will show up latest set up the fireteam and send invites. Last night, for instance, I just did some patrols and a Queen's Wrath with one other party member until the fireteam leader showed up. Just keep checking to see who's on your roster. If you don't end up with enough players, go to the tower and try and recruit a guy at the right level who is loaded out well. They don't have to finish with you.

Actually, if you want to get a feel for what you're up against, start the Raid by yourself or with a friend and try to hold a platform in the first area. If you can do that alone, you're golden. If you can do it easily with a partner, you're ready for the Raid.

In other news the Destiny app got an update (Android)! It really was cleaned up, really much more polished. Now it shows your actual character and more information under Advisors tab (Vanguard and Crypto rank).

I dug out the one that came packed in with the PS4 late last night. I can try that tonight. That should work I think at least till I can get a better one.

You made it look easy Seriously I tried rockin with my 104 damage fusion, and my 248 damage arc. Bad results. Got a 200+ solar fusion farming around and it's much easier. Still getting killed in one shot, but at least it's making an impact.

I tried that area for about 40 minutes or so. It's a little tricky in that if you let a Deng get too far away, he'll stay in hiding and you'll have to go get him. So of course as soon as you jump down to kill him off, the Hive respawn from the side entrance. Much easier with a second player. I'm sure that it will get more crowded later. but it's a little tricky.

It works just fine. I don't know why people are so down on it. My headset is an A50, and it does not compare, of course, but if it needs a charge, or I don't feel like moving the thing from one room to another, I will start using that thing. I used it for the first time a couple of nights ago and was surprised at how un-bad it was, given how much hate there is for it. It is a little uncomfortable, as I find most earbuds to be.

I was getting owned as well in pvp leveling up the thorn. Once it gets the dot buff, it's a 2-3 hit kill and is worth using despite the clip size and reload. It needs a big pve buff though.

Used properly it is a good weapon, but hardly op imo.

I might be on tonight around midnight. This weekend I'm pretty busy with work. I'm mostly around Monday-Thursday. Almost a Level 26 Warlock.

I think you just complete a lot of bounties from Xander, then you get offered a small selection of them from which to choose a single PITA to work on.

I've had lots of success with hand cannons in strikes, provided you have the accuracy for it. Enemies have predictable movement patterns and weak spots and the handcannons are oneshot kills on the lower level guys + the stagger.

I have less success with hand cannons in the Crucible vs human players with unpredictable movement patterns.

But I have not Raided yet.
