Which shipping option did you use? Cheapest (hover donkey) it doesn't come up.

I loved when they used to upgrade FoC to courier shipping and parcels came in little white sacks. The customs sticker on the box inside the bag. I got loads of big sets this way on DVD (M*A*S*H, Homicide, Bond ultimate edition etc.)

I got excited for a moment there, then I realised Prophecy isn't the mutant bear one

I'm debating this. I ordered Green Mile since I don't own it. Same with Gremlins.

But Do I need to double dip on this one? If I do then I might as well get GWTW to complete the set

The packaging on these NEO cases is absolutely stunning if any of the Video reviews of previous releases are anything to go by. So I might just get it for the packaging alone

What a horrible idea for the one exclusive new extra: A featurette on the influence of the film's marketing campaign.

But then the campaign is about the only thing that distinguished this movie, imo. I still remember passing through a French train station the year it was released and seeing all the rows of HUGE banners with the bat-symbol hanging down. Swap the bat-symbol for swastikas and it would've looked the same as it did when the country was occupied.

Have you got a link to one of the reviews mate? I haven't seen these in anything apart from studio-art.

Sounds like a disc issue, it might need cleaning, but check for damage.

My copy arrived about ten minutes ago and I've just popped Disc 2 in to clear the confusion surrounding what exactly it contains. It's just The Birth of the Modern Blockbuster and nothing else, unfortunately, and it runs for twenty-four minutes. I don't know what happened to the other two extras we were supposedly getting (Batman Reunited and The Making of a Hero).

On a more positive note, it's a beautiful-looking edition and (despite being shipped in a jiffy bag) it's in perfect condition.

New user guys.

Dailwhitty- So the Zavvi edition does not include the 2 different features after all then? Guess I need to cancel my order if so... Wonder what that is all about?

Can you do me a favor? Can you watch the credits for the Birth of the Modern Blockbuster? I did some contributions on this and was supposed to get a credit... I just want to make sure it is in there and we don't get it here in the US until December. My name is James Sawyer. I would REALLY appreciate it. There is a chance it may credit my site instead- 1989Batman.com

Thanks for your help!

-James

I have loved your site for years James! The Zavvi blu-ray has just been sent out to me and I've just been made aware of the fact that the two documentaries are missing as well. I sent Zavvi a message requesting clarification. I'll post on here their response (if any).

Here it is. I guess I should just be happy that I received a response.

"Thank you for getting in touch about your order.

I can inform you that this item should include what is listed in the description.

If there is anything else that we can do, then please do not hesitate to get in touch and a member of our team will be happy to help."

Yeah, your name is under "Additional Photography Provided by". I would upload a picture but I'm not on my computer.
