Just saw Get Smart at my local theater last night and I loved it. If you like stupid humor and action mixed together you will like this film. It is going to be great on Blu and I will def be getting it upon release.

After 40-Year-Old Virgin and Evan Almighty, I came to the conclusion that Steve Carrell's movies with him in the lead are just not funny. I don't know about this one though, Anne Hathaway is hot and I've always liked to watch the Rock. I'll definitely still see it though even after all this complaining.

I loved it. I didn't love the fact that I had to sit in the second row because the theater was packed. Looking straight up made the picture look crappy and I did notice alot of grainy scenes.

I laughed throughout the movie, I would put it up there with any good Austin Powers movie. I grew up as a fan of the show as well.

If it aint broke dont fix it. Make 4-5 movies while you are hot, earn a lifetimes worth of money, and enjoy living in Hollywood for the rest of your defunkt career.
I can;t believe there is someone out there who didnt find 40 year old virgin funny . I really thought that movie was a hoot. Evan Almighty, yeah not so much.

I totally disagree with this. I think this is one of those movies you can watch over and over. Yet, when I say this, I don't mean over and over EVERY year. I mean, maybe once a year or whenever you're feeling like a good laugh. There are a bunch of movies, imo, that fall in this category. Movies like Superbad, Billy Madison, Old School, Anchorman, Caddy Shack, Knocked Up....do you want me to keep going, because I could. These are all very good comedies.

I agree with you. You named some of my favorites!

And I saw Get Smart a few days ago. I haven't laughed that much at a movie in a while...loved it!! I guess it just depends on what type of humor you like. I will definitely buy this on Blu.

Hi,
I thought it was one of the better movies I have seen this year. Casting was perfect ,even down to the minor supporting players. Ann Hathaway is almost as hot as Barbera Feldon in her prime. I think the wig she put on during the dancing scene was an attempt to resemble Ms. Feldon's look on the show. She is still alive,wonder why she was not in it for a cameo?
