Its with Lionsgate, so at this point the chance is extremely small.

Speaking of which is Fear City now out of print or something? I really wanted to finally grab it but now its $40(?) at Amazon.
Funny that you mention it; I just saw the prices on amazon and grabbed one of the last few sub-$20 copies several days ago. There's still stock on Shout's site, DeepDiscount, etc., but I figured better safe than sorry. Didn't know about the "Shout Select" line

Just watched my recording of Leviathan from when it was on Encore a few months ago. I was on the fence about it when t was released and on the whole I'm actually pretty happy I didn't buy it. I thought most of the movie was a bit of a slog to get through, but that last five minutes or so is kind of incredible.

Certainly nothing like a TV movie.
Yeah, I guess. But the whole movie was like a long episode of a school drama. It had a made for TV feel, for me anyway. Scream will charge $25 i expect and if this was a catalogue release from Fox as example, it would be $10 and overlooked.

Been asking Scream and Arrow for ages about this. All time fave. There has never been another 5ft badass since Cody Culp?

Seems like the 'Coming Soon' section of Shout's site has also revealed another, previously unannounced forthcoming Scream title for January...

https://sneakpeek.shoutfactory.com/f...rror/supernova

Says it's part of the 'Scream Factory' series, so I guess it must be. Another MGM title, and rather recent (2000). I've never seen it. But I wouldn't be surprised to see Scream 'announce' this officially today now that they've been pre-empted.

Yeesh, sounds awful. PG-13 (theatrical) Event Horizon rip off with a 4.7 on imdb. Not liking the look of where this label is going with their "New Directions". Less comedy and modern stuff, more 80's gritty stuff like Class of 1984

It isn't great, I got this on DVD a couple of years ago for £2 and it's worth that.

They'll pretty much release what SF passes on, which may or may not be a good thing. Unless they bid against SF for stuff from Universal, MGM, etc. That could be interesting.

Didn't SUPERNOVA bomb at the box office? I rented it shortly after it came out and thought it was cookie-cutter nonsense. The only way I would buy this is if Shout somehow manages to get their hands on the original version, before studio interference cut it down. Something tells me they won't even consider trying to go for that. Pass.

Arrow are very very big with MGM in the UK, and have released a lot of MGM Scream stuff, and also stuff Scream hasn't picked up, so I imagine things will get interesting over here

Agreed, I don't care how bad it is, if Scream manages to get the original version (even as a special feature) I would check it out. The film was held back for a year or so and when it finally came out it was a shell of it's original intention. It's probably a case of the original version being just as bad but in different ways, but I'm interested in seeing the evolution. It may only be around as a work print, but it would be a cool special feature. There is a PG-13 Theatrical Version and R-Rated Home Video Version around as well.

**NEW TITLE ANNOUNCEMENTS!***

Our month-long "Shocktober" celebration continues with THREE Films to reveal today to start your weekend off right!

- On Jan 13th, The sci-fi thriller SUPERNOVA makes its debut on the Blu-ray format. Check out the all-over-the-place cast of some well-known names and cult film favorites: James Spader (The Blacklist), Angela Bassett (American Horror Story) , Lou Diamond Phillips (La Bamba), Robert Forster (Jackie Brown), Peter Facinelli (Twilight), Wilson Cruz (My So-Called Life) and Robin Tunney (The Craft).

- In Feb, a blood-sucking double feature of guilty pleasures BLACULA and its sequel SCREAM, BLACULA SCREAM from the 70s will bare their fangs on blu-ray for the first time too in the U.S. and Canada. Both films star William Marshall as “Blacula” (and who also played “King of Cartoons” in Pee-wee’s Playhouse—out from Shout Factory on 10/21) and the legendary Pam Grier (Foxy Brown) is third-billed in SCREAM, BLACULA SCREAM.

Artwork you see here is final. There are no details on extras at this time but they will be announced before the end of the year.

Stay tuned for more surprises this month...including a killer sale beginning next week!

completely agree. Class of 1984 is a thumbs up for I could absolutely care less about Blacula movies and those other vampire comedies (watched them both years ago and was a chore to get through them both). Supernova is TERRIBLE. I actually paid money to see it in the theater. What a train wreck and a title that I imagined would be a $5 bargain bin release. Come on Scream Factory....more 70's and 80's horror please!

I feel like the Blacula movies were announced along with these because they knew there would practically be silence if the announcement was solely Supernova.
