What is the best PS3 game so far?

I've only played MGS4 for about 2 hours so far, so I had to vote for Uncharted. My other pick would be Ratchet & Clank which is just so much fun.

You though Uncharted was short? I thought it was about perfect length. It has also had the perfect mix of cutscenes/story and gameplay IMO.

Im actually playing through that right now. Its great so far. Lots of different things to do gameplay wise.

Heres my top 5 list of PS3 exclusive games that are top notch:

1. Uncharted
2. MGS4
3. Ratchet and Clank
4. Heavenly Sword
5. Warhawk/Resistance/GT5:P

I think the best PS3 game for single player is either MGS4 or Uncharted. Resistance was damn good to, especially the multiplayer (I'm da best ) Ratchet was okay, I'd give it about a 7. The story was kinda weak.

I like a couple different games...uncharted...resistance...ratchet and clank
BUT!!!!

A game that i always play is Motorstorm and i dont see why its not on the list.
Only thing i dont like is no mulitiplayer local
But motorstorm 2 will have that
Still me and my wife take turns playing motorstorm and we love it.
fun to play and watch. and the online is cool.

Yes its a old game...But hey i like it alot.

That's how you know a game is GREAT! The gameplay ALONE is at least 10+ hours (if playing on crack), but you STILL have some people thinking it was short. They can't get enough of it!

I logged around 20 hours my first play-through (about 90 mins of cut-scenes). This reviewer logged around 21 hrs his first play-through.

BTW, you do know you can skip the cut-scenes if you want, right? So, that's no excuse.

Also, I never played an MGS game before MGS4.

I haven't played MG4, but ai don't see how Uncharted would be better then Asassins Creed. Uncharted you and a set line to follow in the game. Asassins Creed you were free to rome where ever you wanted. My vote is for Asassins..

And what if you're tired of "roaming" around and just want to get on with the story. But the story suck, then what?

For me, between Assaasin's Creed and Uncharted, I'll go with Uncharted.

But for overall best game on PS3, so far I'd say MGS4.

Best looking, plays out like a movie Uncharted for sure. So much replay due to great graphics and storyline, CoD 4 looks fantastic also but without online it lacks solo replays.

I can't believe I'm the first one to vote for Oblivion!!?!?!?!?
For (1) replayability, (2) interaction, (3) exploring, nothing comes close.

I know MSG4 is a stealth game, hence not in the same category, but the OP asked whats the "best game". I love MSG4, but IMO (i'm not 100%) its a linear game, thus you have to take one path dictated by the game (ie. destnation marked on map).

I really have to say Call of Duty 4. ive played that game soooo much and just never get tired of it.
