I cancelled ordering Volume 13 and will just wait until the entire set is released which I bought on Amazon. Why keep spending money over and over ?

Not sure how the complete set is packaged but I already invested in Series 1-12 (individual releases) and makes sense for me to just get Series 13 (I like the fact that all the releases have perfectly matching cover art).

Has anyone who pre-ordered the Series 13 BD from Acorn received a shipping notification? I pre-ordered it there back a few months ago (and paid quite a bit more than normal for me) hoping to get it early.

The Acorn site shows it as backordered. I was willing to wait a few months and managed to pre-order it from Amazon for a little over half the price Acorn wants for it ($32.49 vs. $59.99).

I received my copy of Series 13 on BD a couple days ago. Glad to have it early but the slip cover was DESTROYED.

If anyone comes up with an extra or doesn't want theirs let me know. I know it seems a little silly but the rest of my sets have the slips in great condition.

dang, that sucks my complete collection still hasn't shipped from there site and i haven't got any reply from there email either, since it was supposed to be in stock 9/12.

It would make sense for me as well but I have space limitations and decided to get it all in one box...plus the Sherlock Holmes will be one big box set..I plan to align them together..

Yes, all seasons have English subtitles on the US releases. It's great for my 89 year-old mother, as the DVDs didn't have subtitles. Now she can finally watch the shows on Blu-ray.

Has anyone gotten the Complete Cases Collection yet? Acorn has had it since September. I was curious to know if the set has
All 13 volumes as they are packaged individually in Elite cases
Or is the packaging different (I.e. Digipak)?

I'm excited for the complete collection to be released early next month! While my collection of the Poirot mysteries have been exclusively DVD, the upgrade in PQ seems like money well spent. Seems like series 7-8 isn't a huge leap from the previous format, but the remaining ones are. And $198 for 13 series comes out to a reasonable $15-$16 each; less than $3/episode. I

Blu-ray, even if the cases are slightly less durable than we'd like. Little blu cells in use.
