Really not impressed.

Nearly every scene feels like a remix of original trilogy elements, like they're just shuffling around familiar design elements to generate story.

I also loathed the languid jedi light-saber use plucked from the prequels. Why emulate zombified fight choreography borne of bad green-screen use?

But then again, the fan fiction remix style leaks that are coming from Jar-Jar Abrams' "Episode VII" are exactly the same quality-wise ... so this is where we're going ...

I liked the first official "episode". It's going to take some time to get over it not being TCW, but I'm liking what I'm seeing, and I'm along for the ride.

I really enjoyed Spark of Rebellion.
The mix of personalities within the Ghosts crew means there's a character for everyone. So far I've enjoyed them all but I think Hera and Zeb are going to be the most interesting for me.
Sabine is a fresh addition as we've never really seen someone like her at all in the Star Wars universe.
I loved the nods to original trilogy and how it basically reminded us "this is going to be original trilogy stuff opposed to the prequel stuff Clone Wars had" Great use of the original music certainly tie things in too.
I wasn't sure about the design at first but while watching it that was the last thing on my mind. I quickly got used to it, got into the story and accepted the change from The Clone Wars.
The only thing I found that didn't quite work with the design was the Wookies. They looked pretty good in TCW but due to the style of Rebels they seemed so flat. There was almost no hint of them being hairy creatures. I hope they can improve on that
Overall I was impressed and look forward to where it's going to go from here

Im digging the show now after the first two episodes. THe only thing that I have a fear of which I am not sure if it will be good or not is that
[Show spoiler]ezra will become the next Anakin and try to be a good jedi, end up becoming a part of the dark side because he is so eager to learn the jedi arts and is rushing. maybe that is what will lead to VII? Also 3PO and R2 appearance was nice to see but cant we just leave the droids out of it for once? Hopefully they only pop up once or twice in the series.

It's because Star Wars Rebels isn't due to debut on Disney XD until October 13th, next Monday. I'm not sure of how their broadcasting works but I believe it debuts on Disney Channel first and then Disney XD later. I've already seen Droids in Distress and without giving anything away, it has appearances by R2-D2, C-3P0, Senator Organa and the Tantive IV. It's a really good episode.

Episode 2 and we get stuck with 3PO and R2 yet again -_-

Why does this series not look anywhere near as good as Clone Wars?? I just don't get it and the main characters are lame, like some cheesy cartoon.

The official broadcast date is October 13th.

Would it really be too much to ask that, however it is you got to see it already, plot points would be kept in spoilers AT LEAST until then?

Uh, considering that most everyone here has already seen it ... I wouldn't worry about it. Plus, we're not exactly revealing any spoilers about the TV series, just some technical facts.
