I know. You have said that before.

Yes, she is beautiful beyond reason and has a lot of charm and singing ability.

Supposedly, she has a country album in development. JLH fans that are also hard rock and heavy metal fans (which I am) should expect her to never do a hard rock or heavy metal album. One of her publicists on twitter told me (before I quit social media) that she doesn't like that kind of music.

I wasn't trying to shove it in anyone's face, just stating a fact. No need for the big-and-bold type.

Absolutely; one of my fave songs was from the "Hunchback of Notre Dame" sequel. The animation sucked, and the story was a little too simple, but Jennifer's song was great.

I'd love to see her do a country album; it would take her all the way back to her Texan roots.

I'm confused on this one. Did you mean that rock or metal fans shouldn't expect that material from her? She already did a rock single in '97 for the second "Last Summer" soundtrack, called "How Do I Deal".

I eliminated the big and bold fonts (sorry that I put those in).

But How Do I Deal is soft rock. She won't even do music like Van Halen (hard rock), let alone music similar to Iron Maiden (regular heavy metal) and especially nothing along the lines of Anthrax and Nuclear Assault (thrash metal).

Well, its certainly not everyone's cup of tea, mine included. The only "hard rock" band I currently have any album from is Skillet. The only reason I know anything about Bon Jovi or Van Halen is because my cousin blasted them like crazy during my childhood. I never listened to Kiss, Nirvana, or anything else along those lines. I tried playing the Metallica album with the symphony music, but got bored a few tracks in.

Her voice is pretty soft, so I don't think she's well-suited for anything like hard rock anyway. I think she's best suited for pop and soft rock, like "How Do I Deal" and "Barenaked." However, I'd like to hear her do some stuff akin to Pat Benetar, maybe even Joan Jett.

I hope she doesn't do a country album, though. I like country (moreso older country than newer country), but these days whenever a pop or rock singer does a country album, it feels like a desperate attempt for sales because of how popular country is. Fortunately, the rumor of a country album started almost five years ago and there's been nothing on it since, so perhaps the project stalled out.

Oh man, Just reminds me of how much I miss Kurt Cobain and Nirvana.

Anyways, still haven't had a chance to see the episode, and will have to wait at least another 5 hours, because LPGA coverage from Beijing begins in about 20 minutes. But if I'm still relatively awake at 4am -- which given my schedule is likely -- hopefully I can catch it then.

EDIT: OK, saw the episode now. Pretty interesting episode, and I like how it appears to be setting up a long arc. JLH was excellent. She was of course beautiful as always and I like both her character and her interpretation. Loved the beginning. Looking forward to this season more than any season in a while, as the show's definitely not been as strong in recent years. But JLH might just be the shot of energy it needed!

I watched last Wednesday's episode of Criminal Minds. Jennifer Love Hewitt did a great job. In fact, it is her best work yet (and I like most of her work a lot). Only her 1 time guest starring role on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit comes close.

And, yes, she looked beautiful, as always. Her character and interpretations were excellent, just as you said, AaronJ.

Oh yeah, that SVU episode is awesome.

I'm really looking forward to this season now, in a way I totally wasn't before.

I never did watch that SVU episode. Besides not liking the show/cast to begin with, I just didn't really care to see Jen playing that kind of role.

Anyway, here's a little Jen to get the week started.

Moviefan2k4 - Your pic doesn't appear to be showing up, but when I clicked Quote I was able to see the URL and copy-and-paste it in order to view the picture. Yes! A hundred times yes!

That was from her first shoot for Maxim, in November 1999. I was in college at the time and I remember stopping by a mini-mart on my way to class the morning it came out to grab a copy, because I couldn't wait until after my classes ended to go get it. LOL!

And speaking of Maxim, Jen has appeared on the cover four times now, which I believe is the record for Maxim cover appearances. After her third, I was compelled to send a thank you to the letters column, which I was excited to see printed in the very next issue.

I actually had that image as my desktop for a while, because it was sexy yet classy at the same time.

I first noticed Jennifer on the Disney Channel show "Kids, Inc.", when I was about eight years old. After that, I lost track of her for a while, until seeing a "Party of Five" episode about six years later. It took me a while to recognize her, actually. Here's a clip of her from the "Kids, Inc." days...

I read Maxim a little bit, but not much overall.

Nice; I sent a few letters to different magazines in my teens, but they were never printed.

+1

Jennifer is also ultra sweet to everybody and completely stays out of trouble. Plus, she's ultra easy to hang out with and work with. Sure, she's not perfect. She admits to being a bit high maintenance, a bit needy (who in Hollywood isn't high maintenance and needy and she is less to substantially less so than most people in Tinseltown), somewhat quirky, having mild OCD and a few phobias (heights and most movies and most other types of programming that are horror and/or extremely violent, to name a few). However, all of this is minor. But, after all, who is perfect, right?

FWIW, I'm also high maintenance and needy, much more so than Jennifer.

This sounds fairly personal; have you ever met her? I'd like to someday, but most L.A. celebs don't come to Texas very often. I can't afford to travel, but if I ever did meet her, I'd share my "Kids, Inc." memories. She was probably the first girl back then, who actually made an impression on me, and I've enjoyed some of her work over the years. I listened to her self-titled album last night for the first time, and it was incredible; hard to believe she's only two years older than me.

Anyway, here's another favorite shot of mine; I prefer the more classy shoots she's done.
