Here's a quick compilation of ranking information for the Iron Banner

Rank 1: 100 Rep

Rank 2: 1200 Rep

Rank 3: 1500 / 3000?? Rep

For each Iron Banner Win, you get 25 Iron Banner reputation. However, with the Shader and Emblem equipped, this will increase reputation winnings by 20 percent, thereby winning 30 Reputation. The class item increases this by another 10 percent rounding it to about 32-33 reputation per win. Clarification: you do not win any Iron Banner reputation upon losing a match.

Do the Iron Banner rep boosting items also apply to bounties?

Anvil of Light: Kill 50 Guardians in IB while wearing shader, emblem, and class items. 75 Reputation.

Hard Forged: Earn 10000 XP in Iron Banner tournament. 75 Rep

Iron Wrath: Kill 10 Guardians without dying in an Iron Banner match. 50 Rep

Rise Above: Get the highest score in an Iron Banner match. 100 Rep.

Focused Aggression: Kill 50 guardians with Auto Rifle headshots in Iron Banner matches. 50 rep

Exacting Measures: Earn 15 headshot sprees (3 consecutive headshot kills) in Iron Banner matches. 100 rep

Well I hit Iron Banner rep 1 after 2 games and turning in a bounty. Damn shame I never took the 10 kill streak because I think I went 11 or 12 and 0 Never gonna get it now I need it! lol

The Weekly Nightfall took two tries, actually easier than last weeks. We found the key was to all hit the Archon as soon as he gets out of the chamber with everything we had.

Three of us using Void damage snipers unloaded everything in to him and took him down to a quarter health.

Then I switched out to Void damage Machine gun and unloaded 300 rounds in to him whilst the other two chipped away too. Took maybe two mins if that to take him down.

The key is speed. The mobs will over whelm you so just concentrate everything on the boss and don't give up. He's not as much of a bullet sponge as last weeks one so he'll drop in no time.

I don't think there are any cheap ways to kill this weeks boss.

If that's no longer as much of an issue, then yeah - you're looking at 9 materials per day pretty easy. (If you run 3 characters)

It's easy to farm public on mule characters when you know the schedules. I did a public on all 3 of my guys this morning in 45 minutes. Of course you need them to pop in time though.

Christ! I do better in Iron Banner than I do in normal Crucible matches and I've no Legendary or Exotic weapons, only a lengendary helmet and chest piece. Must of been lucky I guess.

I found a very cheap way by mistake lol. After you clear out fallen and boss comes out, all run back to the hill you dropped down from. He will just stand still looking at the wall. Drop down and take a few shots and run back lol. It's gonna take longer this way then yours but a lot safer

Maybe it's just because I have been doing really well this afternoon in the Iron Banner but I am really digging it at the moment. I already got to level 2 and will probably stick to this for the next couple of days until I hit level 3.

I played for a few hours this afternoon and haven't seen anything drop except blue items at the end of the round though. That seems kind of weird to me because I see legendary items drop all the time while playing normal crucible matches. Maybe I was just expecting better gear to be popping up on the after match screen.

Kinda scratching my head as to how exactly they managed a raid completion with 3 people even at level 30. The boss Aetheon alone seemed to teleport 3 people all the time. I only watched 15 mins but it seems like they had a really crappy time even getting past the first part.

It just seems very ego centric at this point. Guess 'Legend making' is what some would term it, but i'm a bit partial to being cynical as to why you'd even bother. "Because most men can't, we will" kinda thing. Meh.

Impressive feat though if done 100% with only 3 people.

Ok, just watched the Aetheon fight bit and I can see. They kind of cheesed the fight mechanics. They had a Sunsinger deliberately kill himself before Aetheon teleported them and then self ressurect in order to open the portal and let them out.

Gotta respect the team work effort to do all that. They're well drilled and equipped.

Iron Banner is so much easier than regular crucible, because every game has 2-3 level 5s (for example) per team, and those guys simply can't kill my level 27 self even if I let them shoot me for 30 seconds.

I don't even have a single Legendary weapon and it has not mattered yet. I wish I had that +25 bounty right now. heh

LOL nice one bud Funny enough I was reading up on this trophy yesterday as I thought I would have had it by now, but apparently the 3 kills have to be in quick succession.
Luckily enough I had a Super Charge ready and was taking a point. I could see someone on my radar, so I popped out the Super Charge Gun and killed one then another two came lining up behind him so just kept firing......seconds later....PING! - Triple Play Trophy

Oh yeah I used my Bladedancer Super Charge at the right place at the right time. I got 50% of the Trophies and I think the Raid ones are almost impossible to achieve.
